       Stone's claws clicked against the smooth surfaces of the stone
       ground. Stone was a light gray loner tabby tom vampire cat with
       green eyes. He had been traveling for a moon, searching
       endlessly for his brother, Clawpelt.
       Like Stone, Clawpelt was a vampire. Only Clawpelt had stolen a
       very powerful amulet from Birdclan that allowed him to get wigs
       and fly. Clawpelt was an ambitious warrior of Bloodclan. He had
       stolen the amulet and he had then told Stone to find him in a
       cave in the mountains.
       Stone knew that Clawpelt was going to do a lot of things to gain
       power. And he was going to get this power by snagging it from
       other clans.
       He had a Birdclan amulet that gave him wings, now he was
       probably going to go Wildclan and suck the blood from one of
       their warriors. That would give him lion, leopard, and
       tiger-like ability.
       Then he was probably going to try to use the Morphstone or
       something else equally crazy. After he gained that power,
       Clawpelt would probably return to Bloodclan and attempt to
       overthrow Sharpstar with his new powers, and take Bloodclan
       over.
       Stone didn't know why Clawpelt wanted him to meet him in a cave
       in a mountain range. But, it felt like he had no choice.
       Clawpelt was stronger than him.
       Sighing, Stone padded on.
