Deltamon Chat System

So, I think really the next thing that should have my attention
is learning how to make our chat system.
That being said, what are some things we should have in it? I'm
striking out sharing images/video/internet links for now-I want
to wait and see how things go with just basic/simple text before
we add those 'privileges' (can be in a future update)...actually
I don't know if that leaves much else other than player profile
pics, emoticons, etc.

I think the chat rooms should be like this
But let's have a chat room for us so we don't have to come to
the web site and chat to each other

We need to make sure the user has typed in what they're
meaning-give them the option to send, so there's always going to
be that "extra step" I'm afraid (but I'll be sure and include
"autocorrect", as I notice Geomon didn't have it and it drove me
crazy lol)

I think there should be chat rooms like in Geomon :Trade, Staff,
Open, Help, Moderator(maybe?) and RP
The rank chats were hardly used I even spammed em lol. Remember
when Research was really used for RP? I always wondered about
that ::). I think a Trade chat is given as well as an open chat
for all players, our own chat so like was mentioned before we
dont have to go in here to chat. A help chat for new players or
people who need help with a Delta ect, possibly a mod chat? and
a real, normal RP room. Maybe a battle chat so people dont spam
the other chats asking for battles (that annoyed me). Oh dont
forget PMs like in Geomon. Pretty much the same thing just
probably a different layout.
Thats just my two cents. :D

lol yeah, I can have a 'rank' system similar to Geomon's-but
this time it's not going to be based on your in-game level
per-se. Rather, I was thinking of basing it on what role you had
in the forum (as far as moderator, administrator,
etc.)-administrators/moderators will have their own area (and
ONLY admins/mods can access that area) for discussing private
matters between higher-ups (banning players, determining the
next group of mods/admins, etc.). The players will still have
their own sections (general chat [ABOUT THE GAME ;) lol], game
help, RP-ing, bug reports/technical assistance-which I'll
probably be head of...). This is what I'm thinking for our chat
system.
