ISA - Rank Information
[b]Integrity and proud to serve.
In this board you will find everything related to ranks
such us syllabus stuff, authority, duties, tests and also a
brief explanation for each rank. This should guide you and let
you know how to achieve a better performance in ISA.
Recruit:
This is the first rank on ISA's hierarchy, it's not even
considered a rank, but a status. The recruit status means that
you are on a probation period where you are supposed to be
tested and watched most of the time, higher ranks will see if
you are the kind of roleplayer we are looking for. This status
won't last too long, if you are what we are looking for you are
gonna be promoted to the Officer rank and if not, you are gonna
be kicked.
Syllabus:
- Roleplay behaviour
- Use of police codes
- Requesting/Responding to Backup calls (11

- Line Up Formation (13

Test:
The objective part of the test for a recruit to get to the next
rank, is about the Line Up Formation, you will be tested on this
matter to see if you completely understand it. Roleplay
behaviour, requesting/responding backup and use of police codes
is something that is not going to be tested, but you are gonna
be watched during your RCT period. You will be finally promoted
when higher ranks think you are ready.
Officer:
If you reach the Officer rank, it means you are the kind of
person we are looking for. You are gonna have a few things to
learn now, so you should be prepared for that, some of them are
pretty basic ISA lessons. You are normally going to be watched
by higher ranks, to see if they did not make a mistake by
promoting you to the officer rank. Also while patrolling,
assisting to backup calls is not the only thing which is gonna
prove if you are a good ISA member or not, but also calling for
backup and developing a roleplay attitude.
Syllabus:
- Patrolling ISA style (9

Duties/Authority:
- Patrolling
- Assisting your team mates
- Gets "regular" status in group
(Every single rank has these duties, take it seriously)
Test:
An officer is supposed to be tested once he is "ready" according
to a Captain+, he should be tested in every single lesson on the
Officer's syllabus. If the member fails on one single lesson, he
won't get the promotion. The member doesn't have to be tested
all over if he failed once, just in that particular lesson(s) in
which he failed. If the member takes the test and fails he would
have to wait for the next day in order to be tested in those
lessons in which he failed.
How is the test supposed to be? There's really no
particular/strict way of doing it, the Captain+ should create a
scenario and see what's the best way of testing him on each
particular lesson. Same applies to other ranks.
Constable:
If you reach the Constable rank, it means you are now a
role-model member of the ISA. You should already know how to
patrol ISA style and you should be on duty most of the time. You
can't get this rank if you still have doubts about how we work.
A Constable is there to guide lower ranks with what he can and
to clear up any possible doubts from them. You also should start
checking the RCT and OFC behaviour and report your opinion to
higher ranks able to promote, that way they can have a second
opinion on them.
Syllabus:
- Flying (Helicopter)
- Parachuting
- Specialization in another type of unit (15
HTML http://citisa.createaforum.com/general-discussion/isa-general-guide/msg288/#msg288)
- Leviathan Special Unit (Pilot/Shooter) (25
HTML http://citisa.createaforum.com/general-discussion/isa-general-guide/msg419/#msg419)
- Maverick Special Unit (Pilot/Crew)
- Teamwork, entering an interior (Tactics)
- Instructing/teaching
Duties/Authority:
- Guiding lower ranks
- Role model of behaviour
Test:
A Constable is supposed to be tested once a Major+ think he is
ready. The test works the same than the Officer's test, but of
course on the lessons from the Constable's syllabus. The
"Specialization in another type of unit" is a test that is gonna
depend on what type of unit the Constable chooses (could be: Air
Unit, High Speed Unit or Motorcycle Unit). That test is gonna
have a specific and strict way of working, which hasn't been
created yet.
Sergeant:
If you get the Sergeant rank it means you are a member who is
capable of teaching lessons to lower ranks. You should have a
decent english level in order to give proper trainings, because
you will become some kind of a training instructor. You are
gonna be able to host trainings according to the "Trainings
Guide". A Sergeant and higher ranks are allowed to kick members
from their trainings, if they think it's necessary.
Syllabus:
Duties/Authority
- Allowed to give "warnings" to lower ranks
Test:
Captain:
If you get to the Captain rank, it means you have shown that you
are able to think properly and have a good criteria. One of the
most important things are common sense, since you are gonna be
able now to promote and demote certain people.
Syllabus:
Duties/Authority:
- Get's "deputy" status in-game
- Allowed to promote Officers and lower ranks
- Allowed to demote Constables and lower ranks
Test:
Major:
If you reach the Major rank it means you are mature enough to
hold a high position in ISA. Your promotion/demotion abilities
are gonna be wider now, so you should take that with
responsability.
Syllabus:
Duties/Authority:
- Allowed to promote Constables and lower ranks
- Allowed to demote Sergeants and lower ranks
Test:
Superintendent:
If you reach the Superintendent it means the group's in-game
organization is in your hands now. You are a leader and you
should act as one.
Duties/Authority:
- Gets "leader" status in-game
- Allowed to promote Sergeants and lower ranks
- Allowed to demote Captains and lower ranks
Commander:
A Commander becomes part of the head staff of ISA. Not many
people will reach this rank since it's going to be only for
those bright and perfect ISA members out there.
Duties/Authority:
- Allowed to promote Captains and lower ranks
- Allowed to demote Superintendents and lower ranks
Commissioner:
This one is the highest rank in ISA, able to do absolutely
everything. Don't expect to achieve this rank.
