This is the type of pursuit teamwork we are aiming to develop (M
       UST SEE)
By: Schulz Date: October 4, 2012, 7:59 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
*Be sure to read lesson number 20 "Police Pursuits", on the GPG.
So here I'm gonna show you some truly amazing videos of a really
well organized police department, we should all learn from them
and know that this is the kind of Backup/pursuit-style we are
aiming to develop. This videos are gonna be linked to the GPG
(Police Pursuits section). I'm gonna point out a few details on
the videos, which are things you will have to learn.
On this video I want you guys to check first of all their
communication, it plays a really important role in pursuits and
it's really crucial to have it in mind. Next thing I would like
you guys to notice, is how every single officer respects his
position in the pursuit, they are not trying to compete with
each other, they know they are a team and that's the best way to
achieve something. You will notice a High Speed unit directly
behind the suspect's vehicle, that's one of the best positions a
High Speed unit can take in a pursuit (unless the High Speed
unit is acting as a "Out-Cruiser", read the GPG to understand).
Right at the minute 2:24 you will see how the High Speed unit
fails with a maneuver which is something that can totally
happen, the important thing is that the other police cruisers
quickly catch up and take the position the HS Units was holding,
       since he failed.
At 3:10 you will see how another police cruisers fails in a
maneuver and the guy recording the video quickly takes his
       position, right behind the suspect.
  HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jxMSbbB-tI&feature=plcp
And yeah... what an ending hehe.
       [hr]
Now on this next video you will see the protagonist as a High
Speed Unit, check out what he does. As soon as he gets in the
pursuit he sees a chance to get behind the suspect and does it
(of course if there would have been no chance then that would be
a lil bit more difficult). After that you will see how the two
High Speed units stay close to the suspect's vehicle and the
other Regular Units right behind them.
Right at 1:50 you will notice two "Out-Cruisers" (read GPG to
understand the term) that probably took an alternative path in
order to try blocking the suspect or perhaps placing spikes.
At 2:25 you can see how one of the High Speed Units fails in a
maneuver and the other HS unit takes his position quickly.
At 3:29 you can see how the Regular Units are not missing a
single part of the pursuit, they keep on with it as they should.
  HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqWwCf4hXB8&feature=plcp
       And yeah... another suicider.
       [hr]
On this third video you will see how the protagonist attends to
the pursuit call and once he is there he does not jump into it
without thinking, he waits for the other cruisers to pass and
then takes a position right behind them.
At 1:02 you can see how the suspect gets out of the vehicle and
takes out a gun, officers take cover behind their cruisers and
open fire right after him. They proceed to take him down since
       he opened fire.
  HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDKjbXhz0d4&feature=plcp
And well well, another "happy" ending...
       [hr]
Finally on this last video you will see at 0:22 how the
protagonist takes an alternative way for a few seconds, acting
as an "Out-Cruiser" (of course he kinda was forced to, but he
could have taken it on any other moment).
At 3:06 the protagonist takes an alternative way again, mainly
because he was forced to, but he quickly catches up to the
pursuit a few seconds later, as a fifth "In-Cruiser".
At 3:56 you will see a really important detail. Notice how the
cruiser on the middle of the road waits for his mates to pass
before moving his vehicle. If he had automatically pressed the
accelerator he probably would've caused an accident, by crashing
into the other cruisers or by making the other cruisers crash
       into him.
At 4:36 you will notice how the first "In-Cruiser" starts to
slow down and takes the right, obviously telling other cruisers
       to surpass his vehicle.
  HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhkvJkq8Cmw&feature=plcp
And finally the suspect gets tazed and once he's down on the
floor an officer approaches to him and kicks him on the
ground... which is another peculiar ending.

I really Like there strategy...but the problem is theres not
many players that know all the locations in-game. Also, I like
the sirens that they have. And btw schulz I seen the comment on
one video about what voice server that those people use. The one
with the real radio noises. The reason why im bringing this up
is that I previously mentioned about a TeamSpeak3 Client for
ISA. Teamspeak wont lag as much as raidcall, skype or any other
voice server. The only problem with teamspeak is that It costs
to have a membership...and Im not sure if Arran will be willing
to donate money from the CIT donations for it. Right now I think
all CPT+ need to have a meeting in Raidcall and discuss some
things with voice. This including: Casual, iKarina, Vito,
Gunslinger, Schulz, Sepi, Bunny, Chris, and Honda. Any other
members will have to be approved if they would like to hear, but
for the most part I'd rather just have superiors.
I love the videos schulz, It keeps me thinking that the group
       will be a great achievement!
P.S. Gunslinger, Nolo told me to tell you good job. Dont know
why but he did. Also, he gave ISA a great comment.

Well, of course I know not many players know the locations in
game, but that's what we are going to be trying to develop, also
       everything else stated above.
About the voice server, I don't think raidcall lags more than
teamspeak does, actually it doesn't affect the game at all (at
least to me). And also we have unlimited server spaces/slots for
people on raidcall and of course Arran is not gonna donate us a
single cent, he does not have to.
And yeah, we all should start being on raidcall more often while
       being on duty.
EDIT: Oh ! I just noticed I put another link on the last video,
Im gonna fix that right now.

That made me all confused.. when did he say that? And where?
       [hr]
These videos made me all hyped up, we really want to be like
those guys in the future but we have two main problems:
The members' efficiency/reliability and the communication. They
communicated by voice while we communicate with typing which is
a lot slower though it have some few good point.
I'm not sure of planning to use a voice server as our main
communication line is a good idea or not because of various
       reasons:
       - Maybe the client will affect our gaming in either FPS lag or
       Ping lag.
       - Maybe the client itself is not well synced to every member.
       - Maybe one of the members don't have a mic or won't prefer
talking for his own personal reasons.
I'm personally with the idea but because I currently have a
low-spec PC, I'm afraid it might affect me in-game.
But in any case, I will try to join in the voice communication
if it was decided that we should be using it.

At least we should try it out, I don't think raidcall lags the
game too much, it's a very light client. Try open it while
playing and see if it lags your game.
And about players having their own personal reasons not to
speak, I fully understand that, but it would be enough by them
being online to the voice server so they can at least hear the
backup calls from his mates. If they need backup, they could
write it on the groupchat, and those who can speak, could answer
on the voice server. That way we are all connected.
