*on the night of the day that Daddy died, after I've gotten all
ready for bed, I grab my stuffed Pooh and my favorite book and
go up to Ms. Womzie, and say sadly* "Ms. Womzie, may I sleep in
Daddy's room?"
Ms. Womzie
"I guess that would be alright."
Jenny
"May I invite Amber to sleep in it with me."
Ms. Womzie
"That's fine with me, but you should probably." *thinks this is
probably a good idea*
Jenny
*go and find Ms. China, still speaking sadly* "May I invite
Amber to have a sleepover with me?"

"Amber would you like to sleep I my Daddy's room with me
tonight?"
Amber
"Is that okay?"
Jenny
"Yeah. Ms. Womzie and Ms. China both said so."
Amber
*nods excitedly*
Jenny
"Would you like me to read you a Winnie The Pooh story? They're
the best." *think about how I usually read to my Daddy before
bed*
Amber
"Okay." *finish getting ready for bed, and then join Jenny in
Mr. White's bed*
Jenny
*take out my World of Pooh book and start reading IN Which We
Are Introduced to Winnie-The-Pooh and Some Bees, and the Stories
Begin "Here is Edward Bear, coming down-stairs now, bump, bump,
bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin."

Jenny and Amber
*after the story, each go to the toilet, get back in bed, give
each other a goodnight kiss, fall asleep beside each other*
*A few hours later*
Jenny
*wake up, sit up quickly, scream* "Daddy!" *start sobbing, and
realize that Pooh's no longer in my arms*
Amber
*wake up, pick up Pooh and put him in Jenny's arms, holding
Horsie in one hand, hug Jenny*
Ms. Womzie and Kevin
*wake up, head to Mr.White's room*
Amber
*start to cry because Jenny's upset*
Jenny
*hold Pooh tightly with one arm, wrap other one around Amber*
Ms. Womzie
*walk in, sit down, wrap arm around Jenny and Amber*
Kevin
*rub Jennys back gently, and place other hand on her shoulder*
Ms. Womzie
"It will be okay sweetie."
