Well I'm not feeling this game 5. I think the Bulls are stunned
and may not recover until next season.

They were overrated as it seems. Indiana should have beaten them
       in round one.
Boozer played well in this series but his flagrant fould tuned
the entire game around. This team is weak.

Hamilton to start for Bulls in exhibition finale
       K.C. Johnson, Tribune reporter
       12:26 p.m. CST, December 20, 2011
Richard Hamilton will make his Chicago Bulls debut Tuesday night
by starting at shooting guard in the preseason finale against
       the Indiana Pacers.
The move drops Ronnie Brewer back to his reserve role for the
lone preseason game at the United Center. Expect that to be the
case permanently as well once the Bulls begin play for real in
the Christmas Day opener against the Lakers in Los Angeles on
       Sunday.
"As of right now, that's what we're planning on," coach Tom
Thibodeau said. "But we're still trying to figure out what's
       best for the team."
Thibodeau said he had an idea of how much he wants to play on
Hamilton but will have to monitor the game to see if that comes
       to fruition.
"It gives us a catch-and-shoot game," Thibodeau said. "It gives
us size at the position and experience. He knows how to read
defenses. He's seen just about every defense there is. He knows
where the holes are. Hopefully, we can take advantage of that."
Hamilton, who said he actually gets nervous before every game,
thinks the transition will be a smooth one.
"On this team there are no ball hogs," Hamilton said. "There are
guys always trying to make plays for each other, trying to help
each other out, and when you have that it makes the game so much
easier. Regular season, you'll get different plays off
individual talent but once the playoffs start you really need
your teammates to help you get through."
Hamilton, who engaged in some memorable Bulls-Pistons battles
over the years, shared an amusing anecdote from an event for
season-ticket holders at the United Center on Monday night.
"A lot of fans came up and said, 'Hey, I used to hate you, but
now I love you,'" Hamilton said. "So it's kind of like a
love-hate type of thing. But I'm happy to be on this side of the
fence and give fans something to cheer about."
By all accounts, Brewer has had an impressive training camp. But
       he took the demotion professionally.
"He wants to just get a different look," Brewer said of
Thibodeau. "It's fine with me. I'm comfortable playing with
either group. Last year I played the entire season with the
second unit, 'Bench Mob' and we had great chemistry. That's one
of the things that (Thibodeau) talked about. It's still
preseason. I'm still going to continue to work hard. The team is
still going to continue to work hard and we're just trying to
       get better."

Rip Hamilton, Luol Deng out vs. 76ers
       ESPNChicago.com
       February 1, 2012, 6:44 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls will be without Rip Hamilton (groin, thigh)
and Luol Deng (wrist) when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers
       Wednesday.
Hamilton, who has missed 12 games this season with injuries,
said he aggravated his groin and thigh bruise during Sunday's
       loss to the Miami Heat.
After playing Sunday, he sat out Monday's victory over the
       Washington Wizards.
Hamilton is expected to get an extended rest period to recover
from injuries he said makes him feel as if he is "playing on one
       leg."
"Rip is a terrific player. And he plays both ends, so I'm
concerned about him with this thing becoming recurring," Bulls
coach Tom Thibodeau said Wednesday. "So I want to make sure this
time he's completely healthy. I think a guy like that, you've
just got to be careful with. So that's what we're going to do."
Hamilton, who has missed more games (12) than he has played
(11), said his body isn't allowing him to stay on the floor.
"Last game, it was killing me the whole second half," Hamilton
said. "And then the next day it was even 20 times worse. It's
one of them things, you want to be out there. I know everybody
says look at the big picture, look at the end, but it's tough
because you want to be out there now. You want to play now. And
my body's not allowing me to play right now."
Deng will miss his sixth straight game after tearing a ligament
in his left wrist. It is possible he returns Thursday when the
Bulls take on the New York Knicks, according to Thibodeau.
"It's hard to measure each day," Thibodeau said. "He's doing a
lot of individual stuff without contact. [Tuesday] he had some
contact with [Brian] Scalabrine so that was a good sign. ... We
want to make sure he can handle everything. We just want to be
patient. He's doing fine. He's moving in the right direction."

Good game by the Bulls. Deng was huge. Nice win and with Rose
along with Hamilton coming back I can see them getting ready for
that playoff run. Screw the HEAT!!!

What a damn choke job by the Bulls. Inexcusable for the way
they played down the stretch today. Couldn't hit free throws,
       couldn't rebound, and careless turnovers.
I think Rose had 7 or 8 today. Man.....

       Cager:
IF you're out there talk to me about the choke job from
yesterday. No excuses why they didn't put that game away. Now
Miami is a game behind them in the standings.
