       Tower Chess
By: ubersketch Date: March 10, 2018, 8:08 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
So I just came up with this Chess Variant.
We have all the standard rules of FIDE Chess but we have some
       new rules and pieces.
       Pieces
I have added 3 new pieces in this variant. The Tower, Fortress,
       and Palace.
Tower - This is a stationary piece, however, it can capture the
first enemy piece in an orthogonal line from itself.

Cathedral - Like the Tower, this is a stationary piece, however,
it can only capture the first enemy piece from a diagonal line
       from itself.

Palace - This stationary piece is a compound of the Tower and
       the Cathedral.

       Rules
The rules are exactly the same as FIDE chess, except for a few
       additional rules.
The Tower, Fortress, and Palace may be dropped on the board
anytime, however, if Black drops one of these pieces first,
Black has to wait for White to drop one of these pieces before
Black can pdrop another piece again and vice versa.
Each player may only drop pieces on their own half of the board.
Each player may only drop 2 Towers, 2 Fortresses, and 1 Palace.
The game starts like FIDE chess, however, Black may place a
Tower, Fortress, or Palace on the first turn before White moves.
I really need criticism since I haven't designed any Chess
       variants before.

Thanks, I found out about some large shogi variants like
Tenjiku, Tai, and Taikyoku (the Big Trio) and some of these
pieces had an "igui" move which means capturing without moving.
I decided it would be interesting if we replaced all of the
moves of Bishops, Rooks, and Queens with igui moves.
