Rooftop thinking (9/17 school roof, open)

Michiru sat with her back facing the roof edge, drum sticks in
hand as she began practicing the song sets and randomly
switching over to play random beats.

Kaito comes to the roof between classes. He hears her drumming
before he sees her, and so, he waits for afew moments, listening
abit before walking over and greeting her.
"good afternoon, michi" he greets her happily.

She smiled when she heard his voice, "Allo Kaito-kun, here to
relax under the sun before next period?" she questioned, not
bothering to stop her drumming, it being the only thing stopping
the girl from jumping up and tackling the boy into a hug.

he smiles and sits next to her. "Thinking about bailing on next
period actually. A period to breathe some fresh air is
definitely necessarily." he answers with a sigh. "Math is
unpleasant anyway"

"Ah yes math, the crazy arch nemisis who doesn't understand it
should only consist of numbers. Instead it tries to morph itself
with letters, an annoying foe indeed." she said, tapping with
one drumstick she began twirling the other. "That and evil
wizard called science." she added sullenly.

He laughed lightly. "Tis true. At least science has some real
world uses though. Science made the Chess Pieces, but what as
asking what A*B is given us?"

She waved her drumstick at him "English and History are much
more interesting. Tales of romance, heartbreak, missed chances,
I just love it when we read Romeo and Juliet there love was so
tragic and sad. I cry every time I read it. And history always
has such interesting battles taking place."

She sighed "Really, just think of all the strategies you can
acquire from reading a history book once in a whole." she teased
and began drumming random beats. "Alas it is only the reader
that can find such ingenious plots. OH I must remember to to get
a book from the library before today ends. Almost forgot I had a
book on reserve."
