She blushed a bit at the compliments "I'm glad everyone is
enjoying the meal." she said happily. "It's not good to go too
long without eating a decent meal Kaito, you're my friend now
too so you're always welcome here to eat!"
"The more the merrier, Mimi loves to cook and enjoys when there
are more people around to enjoy her work." Kyuro said proudly
and ruffled her hair. "Now how was everyones day, I bet you
young ones did all sorts of fun and adventurous things!"

Mai looked up at kyuro, "I'm not sure my day was all that
exciting. I worked through some battle strategies, and worked
on some cord combinations for a new song. Then I ran into
Michi." She smiled brightly.

"Ah yes you're both still into that new game, Chessmate, is it?"
he said, leaning back in his seat. Michiru giggled, "Wrong name
dad, and yes we both still play it, Mai-Mai more than me." she
said, handing him a napkin so he could wipe his mouth. "I just
recently had to break some poor guys heart, sadly he wasn't the
one." she added in answer to his question.

Kaitos smile changes slightly. it almost seems sad, though its
still a smile. its unclear what entered his mind, but for just a
second, something got to him. it was quickly shaken aside,
however, as he took the next turn, his smile back to normal.
"ive had quite the day, myself. one minute im stuck in my
parents shop, the next im invited to dinner with two of my
favorite rockstars"

Kyuro patted her hand "No worry my dear, if he was not the one
then you did him well by setting him free to find his own soul
mate. Love will always find a way to those who want it." he
reassured before turning his attention to Kaito, not seeing the
sad look on his face before it vanished. "Yes my two girls are
the little songbirds, they've loved anything musical for as long
as I can remember." he said proudly.
She noticed his look, but decided not to mention it until later.
"We're not that famous yet!" she said blushing. "Someday we will
be though, our bands name will be in lights, posters everywhere
and millions of fans screaming our names."

Mai smiled the favorite rock stars comment. "Michi's right.
One day we will be internationally known. Our music will reach
everyone who could want to hear it. We're still fairly small
time, but someday." She grinned.
