"Of course!" Mai headed to the basement opening the door and
poking her head down taking a few steps. "Dinner time!" she
called down to Michi's father.

Kyuro lifted his head up, glasses slipping as he pushed them
back in place. "But I'm still working. Can't I stay down for a
few more minutes?" he pleaded, knowing if he was allowed he'd
stay down the whole night.
She opened the door and grinned, "Hey Kaito! Happy you're here
to join us, thanks for buying dessert...I would've made
something but we had a little mishap in the kitchen..." she said
sheepishly, carefully grabbing his hand she dragged him inside.
"Welcome to my home, my dads in the lab right now but Mai should
be getting him so we can eat."

When she comes to the door, hes standing there with that smile,
nervous eyes hidden by his hat again. "O-oh, its no big deal.
So, what happened in the kitchen? " he asks following her in.
When she mentions her dad still being down stairs, hes just the
slightest bit more relaxed. maybe i wont be an experament
afterall

Mai shook her head with a soft sigh and a bright smile. "I
could let you stay down here, but Michi told me to come get you.
Plus you don't want your dinner getting cold! I know I
wouldn't want mine anything more than right off the stove." She
smiled and laughed lightly. "You could always come back after
dinner right?"

Kyuro pouted, he wanted to keep working, sighing he took off his
lab coat and headed to the stairs. "Fine I'll come eat now only
because Mimi cooked and I wouldn't want my portion to go to
waste."
"Ah came home and my dad was attempting to cook, luckily only
the oven was ruined this time. But I've told him no cooking
unless someone is there to watch him." smiling she shook her
head.

Mai chuckled lightly at her basically second fathers reaction.
"Michi will be happy then. Lets head to the kitchen then." She
smiled brightly and followed the smell of dinner as her stomach
growled again.

She nodded, "Too often, we've gone through every appliance in
our house at least three times." she said grinning "You can set
the cake down on the counter." she said and went to set the
table.
Kyuro chuckled "The dragon in Mai's tummy wishes to be fed, we
must hurry before it attacks the village!" he grabbed her and
tossed the girl easily over his shoulder and dashed to the
kitchen. "Wizard of cooking I have come to have this dragon fed
before the town is attacked!" he announced upon his entrance and
set Mai back down on the ground.
