Hed also occasionally glance at the movie, but was loving her
storys too much to realy pay it any mind. "You do know, if you

She shifted slightly, to more fully face him. "Yeah? So, why do
you believe me, dollface? Granted, I am tellin' the truth, my
life has been crazy. But why do I get the benefit of the doubt?"
She pulled her legs up in front of her, and proceeded to tuck
her toes under his leg.

Dominica squinted her eyes, and then grinned. "Good logic. The
first is solid. No reason to bullshit you. You're not a mark.
Only reason to lie is if you're plannin' to run a con on
someone. And the second one? Yeah, I am. You learn all sorts of
interesting things on the street. Especially if it'll make ya
cash." That is easily the clearest truth she possesses.
"You've got years on me, but a different sort of experience than
I do. You are definitely not a street rat. Though I'm curious as
to the path that lead to the fight." She said. A fighter could
recognize another fighter. One born for it.

"Well, for me it wasnt because it was necisarry, but because it
was fun! I simply loved fighting. I love challanges. So when i
got into this game, id spend all my time fighting people who
were said to be strong. People of all styles, strengths. Even
abit of the underground matches at one point. Anything fun.
Anything challanging. And that pursuit led me here."

That didn't surprise Nica, in the least. "You liked the
competition of it. The win and lose. You prefer winning, of
course, but your joy is in playing, no matter. It's why you're
patient with new players. Their enthusiasm, their new eyes. It
makes you remember." Perceptive, she is. There's little doubt.
And she is very good at reading people. Must have come from the
streets.

She smiled slightly. She'd known that much. "See, my reasons
were different. At first, the game was for fun. Then people
started betting on the Black Butterfly. And the bets kept going
higher and higher. Then, I had to win. Now, I've just gotten
exactly where I decided to be." None on the streets knew that
was her.
"So, you really think you can keep up with me if we go out
drinking tomorrow? I think you'll be in trouble." She said
teasingly, smiling mischieviously.

She laughed softly as she leaned back, reclining against the
cushions on her elbows. "Oh, yeah. Dollface, I'm gonna have you
doin' wickedly goofy shit. That attitude, there's no doubt. Cuz
now, I know your weakness. If I challenge you to something,
you're highly unlikely to turn it down. You are in trouble." Her
eyes gleamed wickedly, and she smirked.
"You're either going to adore partying at my side, or you're
going to swear it off forever. I'll hope it isn't the latter."
She said lightly, moving her hair out from beneath her.
