Sweet Musical Moments (9/10 open)

Michiru hummed, hands swinging as she walked to the beat of
whatever song was playing through her headphones. If she were in
private she'd be dancing around in a silly fashion but the girl
knew not to that beyond her bedroom. After all a girls gotta
have her personal moments. She did let herself twirl air
drumming to the song while she walked to the park. "What should
this young drumming gal make for dinner tonight?" she sang, her
father would of course have to be forced out of his lab so he
could eat.

Mai had her own headphones on and her eyes were closed as she
leaned against a tree. As she listened to the music her fingers
made the cords she heard in the songs. She opened one eye and
noticed a familiar figure. She hopped up with a smile, "Hey
Michi!" she yelled to her friend waving.

Despite the music she was always to hear her best friend,
grinning she stopped mid twirl and slid her headphones to her
neck. "Mai-Mai!" hyper active happiness shone on her face as she
made a mad dash to the girl and hugged her. "I have the most
wonderful and tragic news to tell you!" she said clutching the
girls hands.

Mai beamed back at Michi as she was pulled into the hug. She
looked back at her best friend quizzically, "The most wonderful
and tragic? Do tell." She said with a light smile.

The story she was about to tell was a typical one, told often
but with different names. "I met this really cute boy, I believe
his name was Jason. He was so sweet and romantic Mai-Mai! Sadly
though he wasn't the one and I head to break the poor boys
heart." she was near tears by the end. The hopeless romantic she
was prone to falling in love at first sight but each one ended
in a breakup. Despite the many breakups she still clung to the
hope of finding her true love and marrying them.

Mai was used to the story by now. She wrapped a comforting arm
around her best friend. "It'll be okay Michi. I know you had
to break his heart. I'm sure you're going to find the one."
She smiled at her hoping to cheer her up.

She nodded, comforted by her friends words she cheered up. "I
hope so...I must! I don't want to be old without a husband, that
would be too tragic!" she grinned and hugged her friend once
more. "What is on todays agenda Mai-Mai?" she asked. Whatever it
was she hoped it would involve the possibility of meeting cute
boys.

Mai laughed lightly, "There is no way you will be without a
husband when you are older. I was just sitting here picking out
cords in songs, I could probably be convinced to do just about
anything. Something you had in mind?"

"OH OH the game shop!" she jumped up and down in her excitement
"We can see if any new games are out, or if there are any
accessories for games. "I'm certain my gaming systems would love
to be dolled up a bit. They look so bland and boring, and I
rather not let my dad get his hands on them..." she said,
thinking about the time he "customized" the vacuum and nearly
destroyed the house.

Mai laughed at her excitement. "Okay Michi, lets hit the game
shop then!" She picked up the bag that had been at her side and
let her best friend lead the way.
