He laughs. "Its no excuse for a gentlemen to act differently,
just because the woman isnt gentle" he replys, spinning the
blade from the eye hole in the guard. "I suppose a king shouldnt
surrender his kingdom so easily either though. Im stuck with
quite the conundrum, am i not?"

She laughed. "You know me better than that. I got the keys to
the kingdom. The street rat doesn't need the throne. I have zero
designs on bein' in that seat. I just make sure that those
tryin' to get there are worthy." She gave him a dimpled grin.
The words, he knew to be straight truth.

She gave a sigh, shaking her head. "That never ends well for
you." Chrysalis in hand, she charged him. Only to skirt him
entirely, shattering a small vial on the ground that released a
mild irritant into the air in front of him. It burns nose and
eyes, once more. Though, this will fade over a handful of
minutes by itself. He's been on the receiving end of this
before.
She laughs softly, her heels clicking behind him, further off.

He sighs and gives chase by hearing and memory... and runs into
a fruit stand. Always the fruit stands! he laughs "It never
does, does it?" he sighs and gets back up, surrounded by
splattered fruits. "i need to stop taking my mask off against
you, Ni"

She giggles merrily, this time, to his left and above. "Or you
need to stop letting the Black Butterfly make the first move.
That's a rookie mistake, and it'll hurt you, every time." She
told him. "Our styles are similar, and yet, our experiences make
us different. You've never been much for taking an advantage."
Quite possibly, this sort of thing might be exactly the reason
he does these exercises alongside Nica.

"Its more fun when theres an extra challange involved" he
laughs, then twists his feet into the ground, and takes off at
her voice with a powerful jump. "and you always bring those
chalanges" His mask reforms when hes in the air, and he brings
his blade down on her.

His blade clangs down on a partial wall. He realizes that he's
lucky he covered his face as one of those sais swipes his face.
A weight springs onto and from the sword's blade, one of those
heels buries itself into his dominant hand before she's kicked
off. He never hears her heels hit the ground for a landing.

are starting to clear, and he looks around for her now from the
rooftop.

She's across the way. But doesn't know that his eyes have
cleared enough for him to see. She looks to be setting some sort
of something up. In a not often occurring thing, he's caught her
unaware and mostly unguarded.
