language did you use? What languages are video games typically

I was making a text-based game once using HTML.
But I ended up losing interest in it.
I'd love to mess around with HTML5 game creation. I just need to
sit down and try to learn something about it.

I've done some simple ones in JavaScript, Vanilla and using the
Phaser framework.
I feel like it depends on the game you want to make and what
tool you are using when it comes to the language.

It would depend on the game. HTML is pretty quick to learn and
you could definitely make some games with it.
