Biggest forum you've owned

What has been the biggest forum you have owned?
Mine was a forum focusing on Skywarn which is a volunteer severe
weather reporting organization. I had around 200,000 posts and
20,000 members.
I lost it in a database crash and back then I didn't make
backups. :( Definitely learned my lesson.
How about you all?

This forum on another host years ago, we had more than 10,000
posts and I don't recall how many members.

My largest in terms of member count was Mighty No. 9 Universe,
it was a fan forum that was created before the support forums
for the game came out. It also wasn't hidden away, the official
forums were only accessible to those who backed the Kickstarter
project at first. Later on they made it public for everyone. As
for posts, Thee Zone is definitely the largest forum. It's three
forums merged into one, but it's got some decent activity as
well. Here are the current stats:
86 Members 1,366 Threads 6,689 Posts

Today, my biggest forum is AAF (Another Admin Forum) with 117
members and nearly 8,000 posts. :)

Biggest for me was an entertainment forum (music, movies, games,
etc.) that had around 30K posts.

I got too busy to manage it properly so someone else took over
from me. Eventually it went offline.

I think a lot of them do that after they lose the original
owner.
TAZ is sort of making a comeback now, but it will never be like
it was back when Howard ran it.
Original admins create the voice of the community and when they
depart, the community breaks down, IMO.
That's why today, I steer clear of buying forums.

Yeah I've noticed that with a few forums.
I even took over a forum I was a part of, but I couldn't get it
back to what it once was.

You never really can.
Look at all the forums bought up by Internet Brands and Vertical
Scope over the years. They all downhill quick after the
acquisition is complete.
