That's a good point. It's because some people cannot "Live and
let live.".

In the sense that there are values, issues, and causes that I
care deeply about - yes.
But I'm not a party political person. I've never been one to
'toe the party line' on anything. And while I am certainly
closer to some parties than others (I would broadly describe
myself as "centre-left with some libertarian leanings"), there's
no one party that agrees with me 100% on everything.

I feel the exact same way you do.
I try really hard to be apolitical and look at it all like an
intelligence analyst would - get the bias out and aim just for
the facts.

Both sides of the spectrum have issues. For instance, many poor
people are corrupt, but also many rich people.

Not really, but I like being aware of what’s going on. Politics
can stress your mental health if you take it too seriously. I
just follow the news, argue a little in discussions, and I also
mind my peace.
