Sparticlemystery waited for Southernsong to arrive. The newly
promoted MCA was really looking forward to her new job as a
medicine cat. All the herbs she would learn...it was mind
blowing just at the thought of it! The calico squealed excitedly
as she saw her mentor come along.

ic || southernsong purred with amusement as she saw the fully
grown cat look so excited as she approached her newly announced
medicine cat apprentice. "hello, sparticlemystery, how are you?"
she asked the she-cat in a friendly tone, tail swishing back and
forward and a smile plastered onto her face.

[sub]southernsong smiled, glad that the she-cat was eager to
learn. "i'm excited to teach you." the medicine cat said,
flicking her tail for her new medicine cat apprentice to follow
her deeper into the medicine cat den. she couldn't help feeling
a resentment that her old medicine cat apprentice had left--she
wished that she had taken on both. that would have been a dream
come true.
sparticlemystery was, in her opinion, a delight. she found
herself much enjoying the company of the she-cat, even if she
was training her when she was roughly the same age, which felt
slightly awkward, but souther was still glad to share her
knowledge, pass it onto the new cats to pass onto others and so
be the life of a clan.

Sparticlemystery sighed. "Poppy seeds are used to ease pain,
catmint helps cure greencough and sometimes whitecough, cobwebs
help stop bleeding and can be used to bind broken bones or just
wounds, chervil is sometimes used for broken bones, beech leaves
can be used to hold bundles of herbs." she meowed.

southernsong wanted to assess how much her new apprentice knew
about herbs so that she wouldn't teach her the same things.

information as if someone was telling her a useful piece of
information--which it was, to her. "out of curiosity, how did
you learn the uses of these herbs if you never got to see them?
of course, i'll show you them now, while you're explaining,
because it's better to start with the things you know."
