Pianokeys waited for some cats to appear hurt. She was bored.
She sat there with herbs in her paws.

[sub]Pastelcolours hopped into the medicine cat den, her left
paw held off the ground. Glad to see that Pianokeys was there,
she grinned sheepishly, more to herself than anyone. "I scraped
my paw on a patrol--not very much, but it's stinging." Carefully
she flipped her paw over to show Pianokeys a shallow cut on her
pad, a little bit of blood oozing from the small wound.

She nodded and scampered off. She came back with a wad of herbs.
She set down a leave and carefuly plucked out some wet moss. She
carefuly runned it over the cut.

[sup]The little calico she-cat stood outside the medic den. "Um,
Miss Pianokeys, may I watch you treat the wounded? I want to
learn more about herbs." Musicalkit asked. The kit, aged six
moons, was nearly ready to be an apprentice. She wanted to learn
lots before that.

She nodded to Musicalkit. Then she spit some chewed up marigold
and rubbed it over the cut.

[sup]"Thank-you, miss Pianokeys." Musicalkit said. The she-cat
sat and watched.

[sub]Pastelcolours sighed with relief, and there was evident
that however small the cut had been, it had also been painful.
"Thank you, Painokeys, you're a life saver." She said
pleasantly.

"Almost done." She meowed, and placed some cobwebs around the
paw.

[sub]"Thanks," Pastelcolours smiled and dipped her head to the
she-cat.
