a small fluffy tortoiseshell stood at the border, wondering if
she cross, wait, or just leave before she could get hurt once
more. emotionally, i mean. she was pretty fast and could usually
avoid a blow from a bigger cat. but even when she acted as the
most cautious and well-protected heart, she was completely
vulnerable when she opened up to someone. that certain someone
wasn't the right someone, i guess
so she decided to wait. she sat herself down and wrapped her
fluffy tail around her frail body for warmth.
