a small fawn solid kitten struggled across the scented
territory. she noticed the markers, but eh. no one was going to
hurt an innocent kitten, right? right now she just wanted some
food, and to finally rest.
a hacking cough forced her to stop and take a breather. when her
hoarse sounds died down, she glanced down at the dried scar
ripping across her formerly soft and fluffy chest. in fact, all
of her pelt was ragged and unhealthy at the moment. she had been
hungry, lonely, and even attacked during the last few days. her
opponents were not exactly what you would imagine. you might
find that out later though, so i won't spoil the story.
anyway, she never ended up moving from the spot. she was just
too tired. i guess there was no point in moving now, she was
comfortable and a patrol may find her any minute now.
hopefully.
