the cold, harsh world. the warmth of her mother's womb had been
comforting, and she had been happy inside her mother, and when
she reached the real world it was a shock. blasts of cold air
that were really just thin breezes blew across her, making her
only colder since she was wet. with a mewl of discomfort the
kitten squirmed towards flashy. fel could feel the small bodies
of her siblings.
