Bonjour tout le monde !

Inkfeather was wading inside of an ankle-deep stream,
looking for something he could catch. Back in France, fish were
the most popular things aming cats to eat. Whether it was tuna,
trout, salmon. Anything! He felt almost back at home as he saw a
smal scool of minnows go passed his paws. Chuckling to himself,
the French feline looked ahead in the water, still as a statue.
And waited for the fish to swim towards him.

Alphaomega padded over to Inkfeather, blinking curiously. The
Knight wasn't exactly sure what to do, so instead she stood
there- calm and peaceful- watching him.

His face was twisted with concentration. His brows
furrowed, and his paws were planted firmly within the dirt
inside the water. He saw a… Mm! A carp coming his way! He took
in his stance, and when it was just nearing him, him dove his
head down, and latched his jaws down on it's head. Quickle,
before it slapped him with his tail, he threw it to the shore.
He then leaped out of the water, and landed with wet paws beside
the now unmoving fish. Then, he noticed Alphaomega. One of the
loyal Knights. "Bonjour!" He smiled.

[sub]There was no time for social life in Southernsong's
opinion. All there was was work, work, work. She never really
had time to rest, always being organised and having a task to do
or something set ahead of her. However, Inkfeather was a tom
that intrigued Southernsong; his accent, for one, was one she
had never heard. And the strange words he used--ones she would
probably never understand. If it had not been for the word that
he just uttered, Southernsong would have probably gone passed
without even noticing him. However, today she stopped. Her hunt
for marigold could wait. Slowly she turned, fixing her perplexed
eyes on the tom and then saying in a slow, curious tone, "I have
always wondered--what exactly does 'bonjour' mean, and where did
you get the strange language from?"

The French tom looked over as another she-cat appeared.
"Oh! Bonjour- means Hallo, in French. Because I'm from Paris
France. A bit far avay from here. But that's why I have have an
accent To. Becuze I'm from France!" He mewed, rolling almost all
his r's. Inkfeather flicked his tail and picked up the carp.
"Any of zu, want it?"

[sub]Southersong grunted as Inkfeather said this, slightly
surprised that he used to be in France. She had never heard of
this place, but she was perfectly happy in ReverieClan, and
didn't plan to leave anytime soon. "Interesting, very
interesting." She said, slightly surprised that conversations
were actually sometimes intriguing. She had thought that talking
was something that didn't need to happen; boring, in her
opinion, as she had any other things to do like clean the den or
see if the elders had ticks or even collect more herbs if her
store ran out.

"I'd be happy to take it, if no one else wants it," Vividpaw
replied to Inkfeather, bright green eyes casting a glance around
the felines. The light brown tabby didn't want to be rude to
anyone else who wanted it... She wasn't selfish either.

"I know. Foreign placez, ah very inorezting." He
chuckled, and gladly handed the carp over to Vividpaw. "'Ere you
go, Mademoiselle!" He purred, flicking his smoky black tail with
delight. His spontaneous green eyes glowing brightly as his
smile widened.

[sub]Southernsong had never come across a cat with such a
strange accent. Still wanting to know even if she had work to be
done she asked, "what does mademoiselle mean?"

"Hmm? Oh, it means 'Madam'. It's just a polite word for
saying, for example… Miss Alphaomega. Or Miss Southernsong."
Strangely, as it happens with most foreigners, his replacements
of 's' with 'z' don't always come up. But his accent will always
remain fortunately.
