Fish wasn't her favorite kind of prey, but at least she'd know
how to hunt something!

[sub]The only thing that really nagged at the back of
Southernsong's mind was--was she meant to be hunting, when she
was a medicine cat and her true moral was peace and love and
healing? She would be killing, even if it were for the sake of
the Clan, and she hoped StarClan would not be displeased at this
little training session.

ear, excited to be getting closer to his Clanmates and becoming
a bit more known. [B]"Okay, don't be shy when going into the
water." [/b]He grinned. "It'll be a bit cold at first, but

Vividpaw wasn't scared of the water, so she simply splashed
right in. Only to come to the fact that it was cold. "Cold!
Cold!" The light brown tabby screeched, racing out of the water.
Used to it quickly? She didn't adapt to things as fast as
others.

She entered the water in the most she way as possible, bu
jumping into the water. Immediately she poked her head out of
the waves, shivering from head to toe. "It's freezing!"[/center]

disdainful sniff as she stared at the cold trickling water. How
could she enter that? She was no PetrichorClan cat! She was
ReverieClan and, she decided stubbornly, ReverieClan didn't
swim. "Can't we fish from the bank?"

"Exactly! I would prefer to get my paws numb rather than my
whole body!" Vividpaw agreed with Southernsong, legs still
shivering. Yeah, she wasn't the kind of cat to get excited about
swimming after that heart attack.

promise you, in a few moments it'll be like nothing is around
you! Just try to focus on something that will keep your mind
busy." Inkfeather knew what he was talking about. Simple minnows
that size of your ears wouldn't feed your Clan. This way, the
trout carp and salmon came through. Stepping in, the cold didn't
phase him much. He was plenty used to it. So, he waded over to
Vividpaw, and tried to help her up. [/center]

[sub]Southernsong tentatively stepped forward, putting one paw
into the freezing water. However, she quickly withdrew it, as it
was far too cold for her liking. Once more she dipped it into
the water, wincing at the temperature but keeping it firmly in
place. "I never thought we would have to do this." She grumbled.

Middlerunner forced herself to go competely underwater for a
moment and stayed there with her head submerged as well until
she felt she needed more air. Well, although Mid was still
shivering, the water seemed a bit less cold than when she had
first gotten in.
