Is it overdoing the m4 to much

What I keep wanting to know so I can inform others and myself is
that I mounted a Full metal mad bull grenade launcher underneath
my full metal construction dboys m4. it did not already have the
ris mount rails so I bought one single rail from the maine
military supply store and had to make it fit on the polymer
battery compartment hand guard. the gun is front heavy a little
bit. But the only thing I am worried about is the grenade
launchers full weight prying the polymer hand guard down from
the clamps which is the delta ring on the forward reciever and
right behined the front iorn sight of the gun where the barrell
ends. I just dont want it to come loose or fall off and
completly destroy the hand guard. -Judge

I don't think that it will be to much for it to handle but, you
may want to look in to getting some real steel rails for it.

It could potentially break the lips on your handguard if your
not careful. I've broken them because the battery was positioned
wrong and they snapped when I tried to force it. I would look
for some S-system style rails, they will still house a battery.
I wouldn't bother with real steel rails unless you rewire your
gun to the rear, because PEQ battery boxes are a hassle.
