G&P m120 Gearbox
By: Chappie Date: February 3, 2012, 9:33 am
---------------------------------------------------------
I recently purchased a G&P m120 gearbox from ehobby asia and I
would like to do a small review for both the gearbox and my
experience with ehobby. First I would like to say that I would
easily recommend ehobby asia to anyone. Their shipping was not
terribly priced, and it got her 5 days early, not only that but
the packaging it came in was very clean, and well packaged.
Now for the gearbox after some modifications (thanks gunny,
great work) and putting it into my scar, it shoots awesomely
with my new 9.6v battery it has a somewhat high rate of fire,
and awesome range paired with the great scar hop up I get about
as much range as some m16s, and as much range as my old DMR/ M4.
I would reccomend this Gearbox to anyone looking for a highly
upgraded cheap gearbox. Total spent on gearbox + shipping=
117.00
Whoa thats a low price, haha.

Your welcome on the work. I am glad that i did a good job. I
think EHA is a great sight, and prices are great too. If people
get together more the prices will beat any were else in the US.
I am glad the box is working well too. How is the fire select
btw? Is it giving you any more trouble? I hope the mods i did
will fix the problem for good.

Fire selector is doing exactly what you said it would do, it is
slowly working normally after some ware in. But my hop up is
acting up, I need to hold the mag up for it to fire, which I
didnt have to do before.
Also I am pming you.

I am also having a feeding issue with my mids. They are not
keeping up with the rof, and it is not that high ether. They
seem to work fine in the warmth though. So idk what it really
is. I am going to experiment and find out what it is.

I had the issue of the mids not feeding right. All I did was put
pieces of ducktape in the back of my magwell to force the mags
forward. At 28-32 degrees all but one mag fed perfectly.
Edit: I forgot to mention that bbs you use matter too, if a
certain brand isn't feeding well try some other ones.

I just put electrical tape around the mag so it stays put and
doesn't wiggle around. A magwell grip fixed thus problem in my
old m4
