AAR: Red Harvest II

Op: Red Harvest II AAR
Scenario 1: In the first scenario Swat/ DEA was moved to the
tree line across the patty from com. The Drug farmers objective
was to get the drug truck to raven wood. They tried taking the
truck through com rather than going through the patty. Although
they sent some men around the patty to our rear. We had some
guys get into a firefight back there and we took some casualties
but were able to heal them. Once we got them up and back in the
game we set up defenses for 360o protection which worked well.
In the meantime red rover took a group of guys roughly fire team
sized to com to intercept the truck. They were successful and
brought the truck back to our location where we were able to
defend it till the end of the first scenario. All in all very
few casualties and our team made quick work of the objective at
hand.
Scenario 2: For the second scenario the drug farmers had to
make multiple shipments of drugs to bases on the field. They got
their first shipment to alpha with no resistance. But during
that shipment there was a constant firefight at com with Titans
fire team and a large fire team of the farmers. Chief and I
were across the river from com picking off guys that we could
see. Titans team took the bulk of the guys though. Awhile later
CCAS decided to move to a new location as we were moving out
back towards stove top com was quickly overrun with druggies. We
slowly moved back and then moved left staying on the edge of the
patty. It was then I told Titan to take his fire team around
behind Chief and I to start moving towards stove top. As they
started moving I heard Aussie across the patty asking who wanted
to move across the field with him. Soon he said ok I will take
you four. Chief and I waited until they got within about 70’ and
I started picking them off one by one. Then I heard shooting
about 100’ down and it was Titans fire team shooting at them as
well. It was then that Specks tried to rear us. Chief safety
killed him. We then decided to run and meet up with Titan. We
stayed and discussed our options. We chose to go towards alpha
and down to com to try to take out the drug farmers at com. Well
Chief and I started our way up to alpha when we met up with 2
farmers. It took me awhile but I finally sighted them in and
took them out. Then we started moving too com. We met up with
another guy which I sniped out. We again continued our journey
to come. As we were walking down the path we saw possibly the
whole team of farmer walking the path towards us. We ducked in
some bushes and hid for about 5 minutes. They never spotted us.
We started moving towards com when we heard over the radio they
needed assistance at stove top bad. So we sprinted across the
patty and stopped to see carter chasing us. We met up with him
and continued towards stove top. As we started nearing stove top
we heard Aussies fat mouth again so Chief, carter, and I took up
some defensive positions beside the river. We were slowly
getting over run and Carter got shot. Someone attempted to
safety kill me from about 60’ away with an AEG I challenged it
and he missed. I shot Aussie and me and Chief decided to make a
run for it. He covered me while I ran towards Stove Top some
more. Then I turned around to cover him while he ran. He got
shot as he stood up to run. I continued without him. As I was
running up a hill I saw 4 black shirts, and yelled he its
chappie! As I got closer I saw they were all wearing jeans. I
turned shot butcher, safety killed the closest 2, and shot grim.
I continued my way to stove top to help defend it from the final
delivery. After a long hard fight we finally lost the battle.
Scenario 3: in this scenario it was time for the remaining drug
farmers (many of them left) to run for their lives. They had to
run to 3 bases to resupply. We first encountered them in raven
wood where we quickly took care of 4 of them, and arrested them.
It was from them on we were chasing the farmers. We were never
able to kill anymore of them. But there was a 3rd cease fire due
to someone falling and hurting themselves. We ended up losing
the final scenario.
Charlie Company Alpha Squad did a great job and I think this was
one of our best events as a team! HOORAH
