meet 8/25/11

Today was all about informing CCAS about the basics of all forms
of fighting. First we went over medics, we talked about basic
medic rules, advanced medic things, special medic rules, and how
important medics are to a team. Then we did a scenario that
required the medic to either sprint out into a large spray of
bbs from a fireteam sized group 30ft away and 1 sniper. every
member that was there had to do it except the medics.
Then was basic and advanced rifleman tactics, and rules. After
that we went over assault, we talked about how too, as well as
what not to do's. Then a scenario so each side could try to put
these new tactics too work. First J.S.O.C and Spetz had to
defend fort ladd against Falcon, Killer, Titan, Swarm, and
Myself. Me, Killer, and Swarm moved around the left flank of
fort ladd while Titan and falcon moved along the tree line.
Killer lead a leap frog toward the left flank, Not to long after
starting we took fire from and unkown position which took out
Swarm and soon killer. I bunkered down behind some trees where I
could see spetz and another player I couldnt identify then. It
took me awhile but I took out spetz, and the man I couldnt
identify which ended up being FNG. I then moved up to the tree
line and met up with Titan and took out the rest of the men and
the other again because they respawned. We then switched sides,
except me (I stayed on the attacking team). This time Spetz and
Lil C moved through the tree line while FNG and myself tryed to
distract them from the front which quickly went bad becuase they
were watching all sides quite well. I got shot and healed three
times and killed once by Titan and Killer at the same time. We
did eventually take fort ladd. All and all great lessons all the
way around. Everyone learned a lot about medics, rifleman, and
assaulting. Once people left for sports and what not the
remaining people Spetz, Killer, Lil C, Swarm, Falcon, and
myself, did a small show and tell time where we showed things
that we knew which we all got a chance to try. It was mostly
different ways too breach buildings which was alos very
informative.
After that it started to rain and we did a couple games of 2V2V2
in the first round Falcon and I got taken out by Spetz and Swarm
right at the get go, but soon after Lil C took them out with his
1911. The second round I used my sniper rifle and was hiding in
a group of trees in the field I watched spetz on the other side
of the field for awhile but while I was watching him I noticed
Lil C and Killer moving up on the trail closest to fort ladd.
Lil C laid down and opened fire on Falcon and I turned and shot
him! Killer ran off I think. Falcon and I moved down to the barn
and decided after a little while to move back up the trail. As
we were walking up Falcon was talking and I saw swarm aiming at
us so without warning I jumped into a group of trees and hid
while swarm shot and killed falcon. Swarm persisted too shot for
a few seconds, but when he stopped I got up and ran too the edge
of the field. Where I kneeled down behind the tall grass when I
looked over it I saw Spetz standing close to the bunker I took a
couple of seconds to aim and took the shot getting him in the
ear. Then there was Swarm I moved up the path figuring he was in
the bunker I found him in the bunker and took a shot which got
pushed way off track by some branches, thats when he shot back
getting the same effect I ran into some tall grass and laid
down. I was there for a while when I stood up and starting
taking shots from somewhere near the path. I quickly ducked down
not getting shot, noticed he was getting closer and the second
he stopped shooting I stood up and safety killed him. We all met
up at the door where falcon brought up that killer was still
alive. I went back out being the only other one alive to find
him, I found him hiding in between some trees I took a shot but
my shot was agian moved by branches. He shot back with his
pistol and missed as he was running I took another shot and
missed. Thats when I decided to move over to try to find where
he was hiding I found him took another shot and finally got him!
So all together an awesome day for everyone it was a very
informative day, and I think everyone learned a lot. The next
meet is going to be a bit like this. Hopefully with less wind
too

good job team im glad to hear meets are happenin more frequently
so the teams growin
