In the year 2015, a brutal civil war has erupted in Belarus
following decades of government corruption, election fraud, and
human rights violations by President Alexander Lukashenko.
Widespread infrastructure and economic failures have added fuel
to the fire of anti-Lukashenko sentiment. An alliance of small
political parties across the nation, loosely united by a
mysterious leader known only as Mr. Z, have rallied the support
of ordinary citizens and called them to arms in an open
rebellion against the Lukashenko regime. These factions share
the common goal of overthrowing the President, but they all have
different visions of the country that will emerge from the
calamity. They must work together to overthrow the government,
while at the same time advancing their cause and keeping a close
eye on their potential rivals who will do anything to seize
power. Forces still loyal to Lukashenko led by General Yuri
Zhadobin must suppress the rebellion without causing additional
civilians to flock to their cause. To add to the confusion,
Loyalist agents have infiltrated the ranks of the Rebel forces
in an attempt to gather intelligence and sabotage the movement.
Likewise, several Rebel sympathizers remain hidden in the ranks
of Loyalist forces. These spies must strike from the shadows and
remain hidden to ensure victory for their side.
Teams: Tan (40% of players), Green/Civilian clothes (60% of
players), and Role Players
Tan: Loyalist forces
The loyalist forces will be lead by the ruthless General Yuri
Zhadobin and President Alexander Lukashenko.
Loyalist forces will establish a CP at Alpha which may not be
captured. This is their permanent respawn.
Loyalist forces will be organized in squads of 6 players; one
squad leader, one medic, three or four rifleman, and one SAW
gunner.
Weapon and magazine restrictions:
Riflemen are limited to one high-cap magazine or unlimited
midcap magazines. This rule will be strictly enforced. Riflemen
may only shoot on semi-auto. The team will be penalized for any
violations of this rule.
SAW gunners using approved weapons may use unlimited midcaps or
highcaps and shoot in full auto. SAW gunners will also be
required to carry a green zip tie on them. If they are hit and a
Rebel reaches them before their bleedout expires, they must give
the Rebel the zip tie. The SAW gunner will then pick up a new
zip tie the next time they are at the CP.
Green/Civilian clothes: Rebel forces
Rebel forces must establish a CP at Fort Harris that may not be
captured. This is their permanent respawn.
The Rebel forces are Lead by the mysterious Mr. Z. Loyalist
forces will start with no knowledge of his identity.
Rebel forces will be organized in Parties of 5 players; one
squad leader, one medic, and three riflemen.
In addition to the camo restriction, each Party will be marked
with a different color of tape representing their competing
ideologies and motivations in the rebellion. Parties will be
forced to cooperate with each other to overthrow the Loyalist
forces while at the same time competing for power in order to
shape the emerging country to their desires.
Weapon and magazine restrictions:
Riflemen are limited to one high-cap magazine or unlimited
midcap magazines. This rule will be strictly enforced. Riflemen
may only shoot on semi-auto.
Players who capture a green zip tie may become SAW gunners for
their squad. The zip tie must be taken to the Armorer who will
put it on their gun. The team will be penalized for any
violations of this rule. SAW gunners on the rebel team may use
full auto. This mechanic is meant to represent Rebel forces
looting better weapons from fallen Loyalist soldiers. Players
who wish to be SAW gunners may leave extra high-cap magazines at
their CP for use in case they are chosen as an approved SAW
gunner.
Medic Rules (Loyalist and Rebel):
The standard Harris wounded rule is in effect with a five minute
bleedout. Medics will heal players by applying a bandage to
their arm after this bleedout has expired. Each player may be
healed by a Medic at the end of their bleedout and may only be
healed one time. After the second hit they must ghost with their
squad until the squad REDCONs. The only exception is the Doctor,
who may heal the player after they have been hit for a second
time. The Doctor does not have to wait until the bleedout has
expired. If the Doctor heals a player on his first hit, the
Medic may not heal them again on their second hit.
Any player may heal a medic by placing a bandage on the Medic's
arm after their bleedout has expired.
Dead players may not speak unless they are requesting a Medic
(MEDIC!) or warning a Medic that it is not safe to heal them (NO
MEDIC!)
Squads that REDCON may respawn at any friendly base that is not
under attack, or their permanent respawn.
If a player is approached by an enemy attempting an active FRAGO
during their bleed out, they must comply with all enemy requests
(being captured, turning over game objectives, being
photographed with props or game objectives, etc..)
OBJECTIVES:
The Rebel and Loyalist teams will compete for points throughout
the game. The team with the most points will be the winner.
Rebel Parties will also be competing with each other throughout
the game. Each party must outperform their 'comrades' in order
to gain influence in the new country that will emerge from the
civil war, but it is all for nothing if they don't overthrow the
Loyalist forces! If the Rebel team wins, the Party with the most
points will be declared the winner and may be given special
privileges or roles in any sequel games!
Territory:
Teams will earn points by capturing and holding bases,
completing FRAGOS, and capturing hidden objectives. Poles will
be placed at Pallet Base, Jackal's Hold, the Compound, the
Tents, Gully base, Wolves Den, Bravo and Echo. Colored bottles
at the base of every pole will indicate which team holds the
base. The Yellow bottle is for the Loyalist forces, while the
other colors represent the various Parties in the Rebel team.
All Rebel bottles will count towards the Rebel score. The
bottles will also count towards the score of the Rebel Party
that captured the base. The spies may change the bottles to any
color they choose.
A Moderator will check all bottles every hour on the hour,
record the colors, and compile the scores. One point is earned
for every bottle the team has when the moderator checks the
poles.
Spies:
Spies must rely on subterfuge to help their team to victory.
Passing intelligence to their commander and low intensity
strikes over the course of the game will be rewarded, while
brazen attacks that revel your identity too earlymight cost you
the game!
The Rebel forces will earn two points per spy that remains
undetected at the end of the game. The Loyalist forces will earn
four points if the traitorous Party is not identified.
If a spy is discovered and a formal accusation is made by the
team commander, his identity will be reveled on the team radio
channel and he will remain on that team as a normal player.
FRAGOs:
Only one FRAGO per team may be active at a time. The team leader
or a representative must contact a moderator before the FRAGO is
started.
Each successful FRAGO will earn two points. Rebel factions that
complete FRAGOs will earn points for their Party and their team.
Team commanders will be provided with a list of FRAGOs at the
beginning of the game
Role Players:
Doctor:
The Doctor will maintain an aid station at the Compound. The
Doctor's advanced medical knowledge will allow him to heal
players who have already been healed once by their Medic. The
Doctor will attempt to heal players from all teams equally, but
may refuse treatment to certain teams or players based on their
actions. The Doctor can not heal players until his medical
equipment is recovered in FRAGO #5
Armorer:
The Armorer is a Rebel sympathizer who will attempt to aid the
Rebels in any way possible. The Armorer can convert Rebel
weapons to SAWs by placing a captured green zip tie on the
weapon. The Armorer must be in a Rebel base in order to perform
this conversion. The Loyalist forces may capture the Armorer by
dragging him after he is hit. The Armorer must then escape or be
recaptured in order to perform services for the Rebel forces.
International Press:
A Photographer will be present to record the civil war. The
Photographer may be used by either team to record certain game
events that will earn them points. A team may capture the
photographer by eliminating any enemies that are escorting him
on a FRAGO and requesting that they join their cause instead.
The Photographer is considered 'dead' at all times and must not
be intentionally engaged! The Photographer is relatively
autonomous and may wander the field taking pictures until his
help is requested.
