Joe’s Medic Rule
By: Cheif Date: September 25, 2013, 7:49 pm

If you are hit once you need a medic to heal you. Second hit
your bleed out time goes down by half. Third hit your bleed out
time goes down by half. Fourth hit your dead. You must go back
to base and wait ten minutes to simulate casualties
Ricochets count as hits along with friendly fire.
Bleed out time is 10 minutes.
To be healed you must have constant contact with the person.
Your bleed out time stops when you are being healed. If you are
hit while being healed the rules above apply. The medic is not
considered hit if healing unless the bb hits them.

Honestly I don't like the idea of ricochet hits counting as
hits. It would be really frustrating to be hiding behind in
between a couple of trees and then get hit from a ricochet from
the tree beside you and have to call it. How long is the healing
time? I am not sure what I think about the medic not being hit
when the injured person is being healed. But it seems like it
could ptentially work, and I would like to try it out. I'm
always willing to try a new medic rule. We will try it at the
next training you attend. Just make sure to inform us of any
changes you make.

Well I put ricochets in play because most rules don't count them
and its not really realistic to not have them because in war
they do happen. Its a pain ohhhh yes. It reminds me of
Lieutenant winters in the battle of Carentan when he is just
standing there and gets hit in the shin. Little did he know it
was only a piece of a bullet that was a ricochet. Trees can
ricochet rifle rounds too. The other part is if the wounded guy
is hit his medic isn't always gonna be hit. Soldiers wear body
armor and what not so most of the force of the bullet would be
in the wounded guy with the bullet in him. Not all of these
happen 100% of the time but just a little more realism in my
opinion. I would love to see how this goes. You can text me or
call me if you have any questions the day of the meet. Gonna
hopefully be a no homework weekend. You can try it without me
and see how it goes.
Healing time is 1 minute for milsim. 30 seconds backyard. 5
minute bleed out for the backyard games.

Makes sense. We will have to try it out. I like the sounds of
it. maybe we can try it with other modifications here and there.
