.50 cal Heavy Machine Gun

How many of you would be willing to give to get a tripod mounted
.50 cal Machine gun? If we did get one i would put a fire team
to man it. One man to carry the gun another for tripod and ammo,
and another to spot and protect the flanks and rear. One more
can be a medic or anything else that may be needed.

uh that would be awsome, BUT thing is the viva arms browning
m1919 is about 900 dolars so people with money would have to put
in like 200 for the team

eh not really. Machine guns are like the first target on
assaults so they would be plenty busy.

Well yeah but they really cant fight if they are having to take
care of this giant .50 cal mounted machine gun so thats just my
thought i dont really like the idea of a .50 cal machine gun.

I agree they can't really fight that well offensivly but
defensivly they will wipe out anything that comes their way and
don't forget they will have one guy carrying the gun, another
the tripod (he will have a weapon strapped to his back, ammo
carrier, and then two more to be rear guard to defend the gun.
In reality they will have three guards while on the move. Its
not a lot but it would help the gun get set up in an ambush
situation.
