"We got a cart. We've just been dumpin' it all here til we get a
place of our own. Spoils of war, stuff we've made, stuff we've
found... it all adds up. But aye, gotta be strong to move't cart
and stoof'."
He takes hold of a Halberd that leans against the bed frame,
moving it to the other side of the room, placing it amongst a
trio of various shaped spears and a Guisarme.
"It's fine. I don't normally sleep anyway, 'n if I do it aint
well."

"Spoils of war..." Willow muttered softly under her breath,
thinking of the 'junk' she held so precious within her huge
leather bag. She nodded at his words, her 'treasure was nothing
compared to all on display here but it was all she owned...and
sometimes the desire to make something shiny and pretty her own
still whispered in her ear, she wasn't wicked or greedy but
sometimes she just couldn't resist.
"Willow will feel safe there" the foxling added with a smile as
she sat upon the bed and curled her feet up while smoothing down
her fluffy tail. "Willow thanks you for your kindness...and will
repaid it twice over one day Astandord"

"Aye, that'll be nice. Find a nice sword and send it my way or
somethin'."
He shrugs as he undoes his belt, leasing the various weapons
attached to it from his body. He places it on a table, before
slumping himself down into a wooden chair that was neatly placed
to it. Bringing his legs up one after another, they are rested
on the surface. He sits uncomfortably somewhat as the armour
digs into him in his current position, but refrains from
commenting on the matter. In idleness, Astandord takes out a
small knife sheathed against the left ankle, then removing his
gloves and using the blade to pick and remove blood that has
found itself dried under his finger nails. Wether or not it was
his red fluid, was hard to tell.
"Ye' can stay here as long as ya need. We put a down payment on
this room for quite th' while."

Willow smiled at Astandord nodding, the bells and charms in her
multi-coloured dreaded hair making a musical sound. "Willow has
never lifted a sword..." The foxling thoughts drift to the
knives in her bag, her only protection. "Willow will gladly
gifted any swords to Astandord and his grumpy brother"
Willow stifled a yawn, tiny clawed hand raised to her lips as
she patted the mattress testing it and finding it is
surprisingly comfortable enough for an inn. "You are so kind to
Willow..." she added with another yawn obviously fighting the
desire to sleep now feeling so warm and safe in this warrior's
company.

He gives a faint smile and a nod, "Kindness nets kindness,
simple as."
He unlaces the top of his black and white tunic, leaning head
back with a sigh. "Get some sleep Foxxy."

"Yes...Willow is tired" the foxling muttered to herself as she
unlaced her boots and once they were kicked off curled up on the
bed. Willow decided to keep her garments on, settling under the
covers she made a little nest of the blanket and lay her head
upon the pillow. Willow hummed softly, very quietly under her
breath, the song was in her native tongue, a reminder of home
and comforting in this strange room in an unfamiliar town.

For a moment, he watches her settle down before closing his one
eye, in attempt to rest himself. He remains quiet, his breathing
slowing before he finally falls to slumber - dreamless and
silent.

...Willow wakes up with a start, her ears twitching, nose
sniffing the air as there was a sudden, strange noise in the
darkness. Willow remains still, listening then slowly inched her
hand towards her bag and the bone knife she had concealed within
it...

Having the alcohol in his blood, and the weariness from walking
to the pub for what felt like forever - he was well and truly
gone. He heard nothing, not the mysterious noise nor Willow
moving. He remains asleep.

Willow turned to gaze through the darkness, pale green eyes
searching for Astandord's face, wondering if he too can hear the
movement from the inn below. The warrior still sleeps, his soft
drunken breathing echoing around the bedroom. Willow curls her
fingers around the handle of the bone knife and lies still,
listening and starting to worry as footsteps sound climbing up
the stairs, moving slowly towards their room.
