"Willow thinks strong warrior is teasing to make Willow blush"
the foxling replied with a soft smile, she was warming to this
man, he seemed nice and honest but Willow knew she had to be
careful so far from her home. "You know Red?" Willow blinked,
leaning forward to gaze up at him, hope shinning in her green
       eyes.

"Ha! Possibly. Who knows eh?" He chuckles, "And I thinks so. If
it's the one i'm thinkin' of, she helped me and a few others a
little while ago on a little hunt."

Willow smiled, her foxy ears twitching as she nodded as if in
agreement to his statement. "Red is friend to Willow...stayed in
Willow's village for a time but left months before the Chaos
attacked. Willow is glad to hear that Red is well, the wolf lady
is very kind and gentle...apart from upon a full moon" Willow
mused, chewing at her lips suddenly wondering if her friend had
revealed her true nature to the warrior.

Astandord raised his drink to his mouth, about to drink - yet
paused and stared with sinuglar eye at Willow as he came to a
realization. Slowly lowering it, he looked to his brother, then
       back again to the Foxling.
       "She is a Lycanthrope?"
He ponders, then shrugs. "Sounds cool tha' does."

"Willow isn't sure if being a lycanthrope is 'cool' but it is
the way it is..." the foxling sighed, glancing back at the men
seated at the bar, studying them for a moment. "People are
different..." Willow continued turning back to Astandord. "But
Willow thinks sometimes different is good, right? Everyone has a
part to play...even a little foxling like Willow if people let
       her"

"Aha.. aye..." He ponders for a moment, as he listens to her
speak. "Everyone has a part to play, tha' true. But
Lycanthropes, tha' depends. If they do good, sure, if they's
botherin' farmers and chewin' up the village..."
His face distorts somewhat, perhaps a show of disgust? "Then
they need to be dealt with, aye?"

Willow listened, drawing her legs up upon the chair to get more
comfortable. The man's voice and the warmth of the fire was
making the exhausted foxling quite drowsy but she fought against
it fearing rudeness if she fell asleep, besides it probably
wasn't wise to slumber alone and unprotected in a strange
village. "Willow understands..." she sighed, nodding with
agreement at his words. "But Willow's people are not like the
Lycanthropes..." Willow twitched her ears and snatched up her
fluffy tail as if showing it to Astandord. "Willow is all you
       see...healer and hopefully friend..."

"Aye, ya're more cutsie and talksy, less toothy and killy. Ya's
passing well f'er being a friend, healin' i'll maybe see some
time." He stifles a yawn, resting his arms against his legs as
he leans somewhat, giving a slight rub under the eyepatch.

Willow gave a little pout at his comment, she knew her race were
considered 'cute and harmless' compared to werewolves and the
'dogmen' but foxlings weren't cowards and could fight if they
were defending their loved ones. Willow sighed, she knew he
meant no insult and the fact he seems to welcome her friendship
pleased her. She was alone, weak and naive in a strange village
but after what happened to her village she just couldn't sit
idly by. Willow noticed Astandord rubbing under his eye patch,
chewing upon her bottom lip she frowned then gathered the
bravery to question him upon it. "Does it pain Astandord? Willow
has an ointment if Astandord would like to try?"

"Always hurts. Not a day tha' it doesn't. Ain't nothin' that
will help it either. The cut was deep and Chaos infused, I may
as well 'ave had a 'gate big ol' eight pointed star branded on
my face and left on fire for eternity. It'd probably hurt less,
hah!" He chuckles, returning to sitting straight, arms left in
       his lap idly.
"There are some things a healer can't ever heal, foxie. Pride,
dignity, honour and then marks like this. It ain't too bad. I'm
used to it by now." He nods.
