Taking his brother's place, he sits onto the stool - though the
legs of it seem to wain under the heavy weight of all the plate
armour. Getting himself comfortable, he moves the hammer and
sword on his belt, preventing them from digging into himself.
With a slight lean forward, he warms his hands as the rain
continues to pour outside, battering the Inn.
"So, what ya all tha' way to this lil' place? It can't be much
of a step up to come to a place with a shite portal that gives
the town it's name."

A noisy commotion from outside carried to the inside of the inn.
It sounded like a small avalanche sweeping aside various items
of ironware. A voice like gravel could be discerned cussing.
"Kragging stupid place to leave a bucket." The door to the inn
was pushed open, and a huge figure walked in. His rocky hide and
massive fists were an obvious indicator to his race-a Karrek.
The Karrek stomped across the floor to the bar and sat on one of
the barstools. It collapsed under his weight, dumping the Karrek
on the floor. "Oh, krag, not again!" More cussing. The Karrek
struggled to his feet and grinned sheepishly at the elven
barman. "Yeah, sorry. I kinda broke that. And that" the Karrek
indicated the wooden floor, which was quite badly splintered
from the fall. "Oh, and yer bucket out back. Sorry."

Astandord quirked an eyebrow to the new arrival, instinctively
leaving a hand over the hammer's shaft end as he watched -
though soon relaxed, even cracking a small smirk as his lone eye
watched the hulking being fumble about.
"Well shit." He comments under his breath.

"Stormy..." Willow shivered, glancing towards the tavern door
glad she had made to shelter before the rain started to pour
down. "Willow doesn't like the rain, it makes Willow's tail all
wet" the foxling mused, eyeing the others that had entered the
Inn with guarded interest.
"Willow left the village to search for brother...he went to
fight 'Chaos' and never came back..." Willow finally added after
staring into the fire for a few moments, her green eyes suddenly
sad and fearful. "But he isn't dead...Willow knows this" she
looks back at the warrior, tapping the side of her nose with a
weak smile. "Willow knows things"

His thoughts wander as he hears her speak, before finally
talking to himself. "Nah Ast, nah, don't go there. You're gonna
go there aint ya? You know I am." He speaks under his breath.
"I likes it when ya foxies tailses gets wet."
"Ya fuckin' went there Ast, you twat." He shakes his head at
himself, before continuing. "That tends to 'appen when you fight
Chaos. Still, if you knows things, then you knows thing. Good
lucks in findin' 'im."

The door blew open, banging against the wall like a clap of
thunder. Orwaith stood upon the threshold, looking for all the
world like a drowned skin-changer, the head of his wolfskin
pulled up over his skull. As he entered he kicked the oaken slab
shut with a knock of his heel before striding purposefully over
to the bar and dropping a bucket on the counter, infront of the
large rock-man. "Bad manners to go kicking this at a man
relieving himself, stone-son. Terrible bad manners."
Silence followed these growled words for a few moments, before
Orwaith grinned and patted the lumbering creature on the arm.
Orwaith changed languages, switching to Korrish as easily as
whistling. "Still. I'll not hold it against you. Strange sight,
seeing one of you wall-knockers in a human town. What brings you
down from the caves, cousin? Greenskins in the deep places
becoming restless again? Or are the dwarf-homes mustering? Tell
me. What news from the mountains?"
He turned to eye the elven bartender. "A drink for me and this
good Karrek, elf. Be quick about it this time." That said he
turned back to the granite giant, the lights from the many
candles and distant fire catching on his rune-etched warhammer
before being stolen by the dark folds of his cloak.

"Been too long since I heard Korrish." The Karrek grinned.
"There's certain softskin tongues that grate a bit on the old
ore-veins... if you know what I mean." The Karrek shoots a brief
glance at the Elven bartender, who pretended not to notice.
"Sorry about the bucket, but it was in a kragging stupid place.
As for why I'm here, I had an argument with that old
pyrite-brain Colonel Kron. He didn't like me pointing out that
the plan of attack he's devised against the greenskins was about
as full of holes as pumice. Well, what could I do but wallop him
one before he got a load of our boys killed? So he goes and
exiles me." The Karrek nods to himself. "I heard this town was
full of opportunity for someone with my skillset. Before joining
up, I was a mining engineer. Bottom line is, I can build stuff,
and I can break stuff. Mostly the latter." The Karrek grinned at
the human who'd ordered the drink for him, and stuck out a
massive hand. "Krakanrok." He identified himself.

Willow giggled, a slight flush upon her cheeks as the warrior
replied, shaking her head she smiled at him. "All foxies or just
Willow?" The foxling turned to look at the huge man at the bar,
green eyes wide with wonder, never seeing such a creature before
but not afraid, she sensed he wasn't bad, not like the Chaos
creatures* "Willow is a twin...that is why Willow knows Red
isn't dead but Willow worries about Red" Willow sighs, turning
back to look at Astandord. "So Willow looks...and helps others
who fight the Chaos...it is the right thing to do"

Scratching his beard, Orwaith takes a pull from the
newly-arrived mug and wipes his mouth on his sleeve before
speaking. He inclines his head at the karrek, now stuck firmly
in the Korrish tongue. "I picked up the language here and there.
From dwarves, karrek and books. Spent a deal of time living in
an abandoned hold. Plenty to learn. Did my fair share of digging
in those days, uncovering old passage-ways and halls and the
like. Hard work. Well worth the effort. I've never met a mining
engineer before. You boys have a good time of it, so I hear.
Plenty of blasting and breaking to do down in the mines."
He takes another pull.
"So you came to Chaos Gate to lend your services eh? Well, so
have we. My brother and me, that is. We're the Brothers
Kessleryv. I'm Orwaith, Astandord's the big bugger over by the
fire in the plate." He guestures with a hand before returning to
his drink. "Might be we could use a feller like yourself on our
side, if you sift my slag."

"I 'unno, I'm thinking a bit of both right now."
He follows her gaze across to the bar, listening to her speak,
before catching his gaze to look back at her. "I dun' think she
is dead. She's capable. I knows her. If it is who I am thinkin'
of."
