Help with ranged combat.

Hi guys. Glad to have met some of you at Geekfest. Now, question
one. How do I go about character gen? I can't seem to find any
relevant info regarding race options etc. Question two, what's
the deal with ranged combat? Are you allowing the user of bows
in the system and if so, how effective will they be? Tbh, I
just want to use my bow more often so I'm gonna choose an archer
character regardless lol. :-)

I'm going for an archer as well, from what I gather as long as
the bow doesn't exceed 30 pound draw it's good to go. Obviously
requires LARP safe arrows such as these

Every character has a set HP, but obviously if you take an arrow
to the knee ;) then you will have to limp/hop as that leg would
be useless. If your arm is hit then you fight without use of
that arm. Rules are still being hammered out so it could change
so keep an eye on it!
