*Lerryn listened with great interest, this priest seemed a lot
more agreeable and devout then the one in her village, the one
that had scarred her face and cast her out for her 'cursed
blood'. She spotted her elven 'master' return from making his
toilet and sitting back down, he beckoned her over to join him.
Lerryn smiled at the others gathered around the fireplace,
bidding them to forgive her taking leave of their company and
softly padded over to Transit* "You tired of the holy man's
tales already?" *She questioned, taking a seat opposite him.
Lerryn wasn't sure how to address the elf now so waited for him
to correct her manner should it be out of place* "I believe that
vampire's days or should I say nights are numbered...it seems a
       worthy cause...'master?'"

*Lerryn leans forward, staring the elf in the eyes, a slight
smile playing upon her lips* "What gave it away?" *She chuckled,
the further from her small, isolated home she travelled the more
she was beginning to realise she wasn't alone in being a
non-human and this comforted her greatly* "I believe the term is
a lycanthrope...and the only time you are truly in danger is
upon a waxed moon...but there are safe guards we can up in
place" *She answered him honestly, there was no point in lying
to him* "I would rather not be paid in silver and magic spells
are strong upon my kind at night...anything...well I am learning
as I go along, one of the reasons I am on the road, in search of
       my father's kin"

*Lerryn cocked her head to once side a stared thoughtfully for a
moment at the elf, her eyes seemed to taken on a golden hue*
"Well my grandmother use to make a leather pouch to wear around
her neck containing a silver coin, dried wolfsbane and a lock of
my hair, it seemed to ward me off. If there is an inn then you
will be safer taking a room or if we are on the road sleep in a
circle of fire or across a running stream...I do have some
control over my beast but I would rather not risk your life,
       friend"

Yes very well i shall make one of these "neclace" es and we can
take other precautions when on the road
*the elf stands and brushes the dust from his elbows. He looks
at red wolf for a few seconds deep in thought before he finally
pulls down his bandana to reveal his full face. He ofers his
hand to redwolf* lovly to make your acaintance i am tranair * he
is clean shaven and has a very dark tone of skin not naturell
just textured by mud and soot he smiles lifhtly before shaking
redwolfs hand and walks back to the fire place to rejoin the
       parley of tales*

"No...it would be best if I made the pouch, no offence but I
think the protection spell works stronger if prepared by the
'afflicted'..." *Lerryn explained in a soft, serious tone, then
smiling at the elf* "A pleasure to meet you good sir" *Lerryn
answered his introduction with a little curtsy as Transit rose
and held out his hand to her once more in a proper greetings*
"And I am Lerryn Redwolf of the forest, daughter of Redwolf, a
warrior from over the far seas" *She knew her introduction meant
nothing to the elf but it was the first time Lerryn had been
able to introduce herself as such and she was proud of her blood
kin. She shakes his hand and then joins him back at the
fireplace with the others, slipping back onto her chair for the
       night*
((I am so going to have to make you a protection pouch now ><))

"A thief, a bounty hunter and a lycanthrope?" Preacher Schwann
smiles. "My arch-lector would throw a fit if he knew of my
present drinking partners!" As the trio give Schwann some dirty
looks, he holds up his hands in a gesture of reconciliation.
"However, I am not my arch-lector." Schwann addresses Lerryn. "I
do not ask you to trust me yet, miss. Let it be known though,
that I believe your condition to be a mere magical disease
rather than a corruption of the soul. At the very least, simple
charity demands that you not be a pariah for something beyond
your control. Know that, at this time, only the demon spawn of
the gate and those who follow them have reason to fear my
wrath." He turns to Mallificus Sentius. "As for your
proposition, my friend, I must report to the Duke come the
morrow. There are certain things that he must learn of, not
least Sir Stahlritter's demise. However, should he authorise a
revenge attack on the Inn of Char, I shall be sure to mention
your eagerness to aid in this endeavour." Schwann raises his
drink. "To good company and future health."

*Lerryn pulled her travelling cloak around, curling her feet
under her as she settled into the worn, soft leather of the
chair. She regarded the priest for a moment in silence, green
eyes taking on a golden hue in the light of the fire. Finally
she nodded, lips curving into a taunt but friendly smile* "I was
born a wolf sir...cursed blood or no I believe it is the person
I am when not called by the silver goddess that defines me
rather than the beast I become...evil as you might put it lies
within us all if pushed upon that path, a good man can falter if
his faith is over whelmed" *She spoke calmly, respectful in
tone, her eyes never leaving the priest* "There are corrupt
members of your church, bad men as well as bad wolves...we all
have a choice which path to take and I for one do not intend
upon any demon spawn harming the innocent, human, elf or wolf"

[ravage shows disinterest in the Tale.
With a gutteral grunt, he turns to face the fireplace, however
the more keen eyed might notice his canine ears twitching toward
the continuing conversation and a glare from the corner of his

A man wearing the robes of a Claw Mage, nervously appears at the
tavern door, he shuffles over to the Beastkin.
"My lord, your prescience is requested back at the Claw
encampment, the Sage is apparently looking for you."
With a snarl, Ravage rises to his feet and motions to the door,
"dammit! Very well. Enjoy your ghost story." He turns and nods
       to Mallificus before leaving
