Question on races

I met you guys at Geekfest and been thinking about LARP for a
while now, yes I am a total noob. So just wanted to ask as this
is going to be fantasy is a werewolf character acceptable?
Obviously to be treated as a human but with the weaknesses
unless an event is held over a full moon?

Hi Redwolf - Welcome to the site!
In answer to your question; with a couple of tweaks, a Werewolf
character would be an acceptable character within the Chaosgate
universe. In the next week or so we'll be releasing a list of
playable races. I can confirm that one of those races will
incorporate characters with 'Werewolf like' abilities, so watch
this space.

Thank you for the reply, as I said I am new to this so I am here
to be guided by you. I shall wait now brainstorming ideas until
you have had time to post up more information as I know you have
all been busy, I hope the event went well for you. But I was
thinking along the lines of a healer/witch or priestess sort of
character rather than a full on warrior with a connection to
wolves and the moon...but I will wait and see what your
'werewolf' like race is like and then maybe see if my idea can
be tweeked to be suitable for the universe.

Hey there Redwolf,
Just spoke to Jimmy the pint this morning, as he already
mentioned, yes we will have "Werekind" as a race type, this
allows for your classic werewolf but also other "were" types are
possible.
As a spoiler, the current extra stats for Lycanthropes are:
bonus- +2 damage to opponents at night,
Drawback: takes double damage from any magic weapons at night
