The rustling moves fully to the center, then stops... it remains
silent before emerging from the shrubbery it comes...
A small rat.

The mouse squeeks for a moment, but before it can do so further,
or Ast can speak any more words - a bright illuminous liquid
covers the rodent, practically melting it through as a a pair of
long legs pounce forward and drag it's melting corpse back in.
It occurs in almost a blink of an eye, the creature too shadowed
in the dark and moving too quick for any reaction, save for
those with the fastest of reflexes.
Unless it is prevented or attacked, the creature emerges itself
into the small opening in front of the group. It was large,
eight legged and had a thousand lidless eyes. With a shrillish
screech it would taunt the group, rearing back on it's legs.
This creature, known as a Gwiasdur, took the appearance of a
monstrously over grown spider and as was evident, was capable of
spitting what seemed to be acid.

to flicker for a moment upon seeing the mouse dissolve*
