I think I'll find some higher ground.. *he swiftly climbs a
thick oak tree a stones throw away, his cloak blends seamlessly
with the canopy he withdraws his bow and knocks an arrow. He
begins scanning the area. He suddenly remembers his promise and
calls softly to Lerryn* psst, quickly, come up here with me! *he
climbs lower prepared to help her climb the tree*

There is a quick flash behind bushes further up ahead, at least
some twenty meters away - the blackness makes it hard to see in
it's quick movement, but it seems of reasonable size... it
appeared multi-legged...

out of the bushes and scuttles towards the group, mandibles
clacking. He settles into a battle stance, awaiting the
centipedes first strike.

The creature remains hidden, as it rustles still, it can be
heard to have gone around the left flank, a sparse ten meters
away, before it seems to redistance itself. It is likely the
creature is currently looking for an area of oppurtunity to
emerge from, or perhaps is merely inquisitive.
