*grins back at Leyshon, smiles at the welcome from the other
members* It seems we will require some supplies before setting
off on this hunt. Since I am new to this, I will be guided by
those with more experience with these creatures *nods to
Preacher Schwann and Mallificus Sentius*. I will however need
to see if I can collect some spell ingredients, as I have little
with me. And a mage with no spells is no mage at all! Since
most of those are botanical, I can get certainly get the garlic.
As for the chain..... I leave that in more armoured hands
*grins*

An old soothsayer once told me that a stake through the heart
does not kill a vampire, it merely puts them into a kind of
sedation known as 'torpor', this renders the creature virtually
powerless thus giving the vampire slayers of old enough time to
cut of the heads of their blood sucking foe. If we use the same
technique but then bind him with these chains you speak of we
should be something close to safe. I am also having the local
metalworker make me up a few special items but I will show you
those when he has finished them and we are ready to go.
*Mallificus looks up at Jimmy and catches the vial belt in his
right hand* Nice work indeed Jimmy. your assistance is most
welcome, as is your enthusiasm. I guess you know where most of
the bounty will be spent so you do well to protect your income
ha ha ha! *Mallificus steps forward and warmly grips the
bartenders sholder. He notices a knowing look in the brewers
eyes, there is something more to this man's past than just
serving ale*

" sound intresting with the wooden stack tho are there eney
specific at all along tho line dose it have to be a pacific size
or would just a wooden arrow for the heart do the trick in to
knoking in it to a "torpor"e? a bit less fun way to deal with a
vamper but i guess alot safe if we can shot it from arf putting
it in to a torpor till we can get to it to put the chains on it
?"
"tho some special items sounds intreging and thanks Jimmy"

*Lerryn stood in the shadows silently listening to the
conversation, she wanted to help because it was the right thing
to do. The she wolf wasn't interested in the bounty or fame but
she need worry about the priest, he had been kind to her and she
suddenly felt the strange need to protect him...finally she
spoke up* "I can help track the vampire...if you need more help"
*She blushed as all eyes turn upon her, but it was true her
senses were perhaps stronger than the other, especially her
sense of smell and vampires did have a certain smell or at least
she has heard this* "But I would need to borrow something of
your departed friend..." *Lerryn looked the priest, chewing her
bottom lip nervously* "His scent will still linger upon the
creature...and I need to borrow a pair of thick leather gloves
if I may as well?"

Ahh Lerryn, Your senses will be far more attuned than any of
ours, this is invaluable. You will be able to pick up Chars
scent at the Inn if he doesn't still dwell there. You have just
acquired us the 'Plan B' we needed if he has moved from there
without a trace. You are not just welcome Lerryn, you are
needed. *Mallificus passes you a handful of coins* Consider this
a down payment on your share of the bounty. Get yourself what is
needed to get this job done cleanly and without fault. If it's
gloves you need get them and what ever else is needed It is
pointless taking half measures. We all need to rely on each
other.
Greetings Tranair
*Mallificus turns to Tranair and the others* Do any of you have
a place nearby we can use as a safe house to discuss this more
privately than on the streets or in the C&C. somewhere to use as
a base of operations?

*Walks up slowly to the gathering and clears his throat* If I
may offer my assistance? I have never dealt with a vampyre
before.. but it must be dealt with and soon... too much blood
has it shed already.
*Keeps his head bowed with the hood pulled forward at all times,
turning his head to keep anyone from looking into the hood*

After leaving her private discussions with 'Ast' she made her
way towards the hunting party, glancing at them all one by one
knowing more power was better than less.
" I too am offering my hand of service, I am quick and know a
thing or two about this particular vampire" She cleared her
throat, as she looked for 'Ast' giving him a knowing wink.

Following down behind her, he has his usual gear - though now
also has in tow a rather large bardiche, placed in his left
hand, resting on shoulder. "Aye, 'n 'er 'and in service is very
nice I tell ya." He smirks.
