Music for the pub

Was thinking it might be a nice idea that if anyone plays an
instrument it would be good to get something together for
evening entertainment.
Anyone interested in making some entertainment for the bar ????

I can't play but think it is a great idea...or we could all help
to put together a playlist to suit us all and the mood of the
realm...then hope some clever mage can magic us a music playing
device LOL ;D

I actually play the flute....but not very well. Well...I was
Grade 7. Haven't played in well over a year though.
Not sure its the right type of music you may want. But I could
learn some music if you wanted me to. I could always pre-record
it for the background music. Not too confident performing in
front of others....but as Jóscelyn perhaps I could.

not sure if anyone is trained in what maybe considered 'the
right type of music' now days without a Degree in period music
lol
but I am an average guitar player so would be happy to put out
some chords or picking in a certain key that was easy for you to
play your flute over if that helped.
I know that Transit the elven rouge can play violin so there is
three people who might be able to just kinda 'JAM' already!! :)
I used to make a lot of music but only ever got round to making
one fantasy type tune that I never really finished:

it's quite basic but something along those lines could be quite
fun.
At the end of the day I don't think it wouldn't really matter
what got played after a few ales ;)
as long as it's not one direction ;D

Unfortunately I can't play an instrument, but I have had some
voice training with a male voice choir. Not sure if this helps,
but if you need an accompanying singer, I'll give it my best
shot.

Ooh how exciting!! I love Mallificus's music link above - a
playlist like that would be great for background music! I'll ask
my brother, he's a DJ and has a very eclectic collection of
stuff, might be some medieval styley in there somewhere. I play
basic guitar, happy to strum accompanying chords if required!
Also sing a bit and Root loves singing too. Might dig out my old
penny whistle collection and give that a bash again - got 10
months to practise! 😃

Anyone heard of a band called Dead Can Dance? They are a
favourite of mine and have a few medieval sounding tracks if
anyone is interested...
