My liege,
The council of elders of the faith has, I am sorry to report,
seen fit to turn down your request for additional warriors
vis-a-vis the Claw situation. Publically they speak of a
volatile situation that would be made worse by sending more
troops. Privately, I fear, they sneer at your youth. They have
sanctioned a token response, but even this small party was cut
in two by a chance encounter with a vampire on the road. I alone
made it here, and I fear that I was only sent to get rid of
me-my somewhat liberal views have irritated the arch-lector
inordinately. Still, if by my life, or death, I may serve you,
you have my warhammer at your service.

You misunderstand me Schwann. I'm in need of people with far...
subtler skills. I wish to know more. An attack would be
pointless. As for the Elders, they would find any excuse to
undermine my orders. I'll be too fat for them next week... or
maybe I'll have the wrong type of nose... I fear, however that
right now our priority should be this Vampire; we cannot risk
any more innocent deaths.

As you will. But I want results. I will not stand for the loss
of any life on roads that fall under my protection. Do whatever
