Aramil turns his back to ast, "m'lady shall we leave this child
to his whining?", Aramil knew that he had no chance to question
it at this moment as the duke appointed him Aramil would not
openly question the dukes word in front of all the caravan.

With a slight sigh of disappointment that nothing fun was going
to become of it, he turns back too, rejoining his men as both
parties move in opposite directions.
"No blood, mein kapitan?" Asks Veklinzo, one of the corporals.
"Nein. The Dark Elf doesn't wish to clash swords. Today at
least." Replies the Captain.
"Well... that ain't no fun." Chimes in Arnold."
Looking behind ever so briefly, Astandord inspects the pair for
a moment, before looking back to his men. "He stood his ground,
that's what counts. And he isn't quick to make a brash decision.
The lady, despite being... uppity... is steadfast. You will
ensure you do well to protect zhie pair of them." He states in a
somewhat ordering fashion, but also sincere - knowing full too
well he should be beyond ear shot of the Elves by now.
"Personally, I think ya just dun' it cos ya find it fun cap'n."
comments the cockney accented sergeant.
"Ja. I find it fun. But I'm not so stupid as to push it too far.
Merely find where their limits are." He flashes a quick smile
and wink to Arnold. "Besides, if this whole situation is to work
out, we need them alive. At all costs." He snaps gaze to
Veklinzo, a somewhat stocky fellow, with a thick head of hair,
missing a single eye. "Corporal, fall back to the flanks, inform
each section to give two halberdiers to dedicated bodyguard duty
of them, and another two for the Duke himself, the remainder are
to keep guard and watch of the flanks for the claw
specifically."
"Ja wohl!" Veklinzo states, before moving to comply with the
orders.
"Und for all of you, no talking to the Dark Elves or any other
person marching in this caravan, we're here to observe and
protect. Leave the annoying and testing to me."

Ethra had chosen to remain silent throughout the back-and-forth
between Astandord and Aramil. As a final thought to the
subject,Ethra tilted her head and stared deeply into Astandord's
eyes. "Perhaps you should be improving upon your own pack of
animals, before commenting on mine. You and your 'men' are ever
so loose of tongue. I would take great pleasure in cutting them
out."
Looking towards Aramil, she nodded once. "Lets. No need to engage
the child any further in this matter. Though,I do have a gift
for him"
With this, she reached into her pouch and retrieved a small
square of parchment. A ripped page from a leather-bound book. It
looked dreadfully worn and was stained by time. She moved
towards the Mercenary and handed him the slice, smiling all the
while. The page held no dark secrets or interesting factual
information, but he needn't have known that.
"For you,Astandord. With my..compliments."

Due to how uninterested he was when he turned, and the fit of
his helmet, he was unable to hear Ethras comment - though had he
done, likely the comments would have continued.
Hearing someone approaching, after he addressed his men, he
turned, looking at the lady, taking a slight sigh as he had to
return to an outward personality that was not his own again.
"The f**k is this?" he comments as the parchment is held out,
though most certainly does not take it - the mercenary being
cautious enough not to accept something random from a person who
he had just been openly arguing with.
He gives a glance to Arnold, who in turn shrugs to Ast.

"m'lady, let us leave now" Aramil said more commanding than he
wanted, instantly regretting his tone with Ethra, he hoped she
would brush it off and accompany her to check on matters not
concerning our short den captain.

Making a quick glance to Ethra, who is assumedly still present
next to him, he gives an ever so slight narrowing eyes - before
then looking to Karvroka. "It's fine, horned one. I assumed you
haven't murdered anyone like the filthy creature you are?"

looking around the people here "well as long as its not
politics... we had enough of that at the gate" Mulacath sighs at
the end of this hoping there won't be anymore politics now we've
left the town

Associates."

He gives a shrug. "Ja. Miscommunication. More just that the Lady
is a b***h and the Lord Commander is a c**t. Not that I am
saying we're not. I take the crown of being a c**t." He nods,
being entirely serious. "The miscommunication makes for a more
interesting ride at least."
