I'd be willing to help out with the in game fluff if any help is
needed, I've got some experience from writing some of my own
lore for the games i design

I know its early days yet but if you wanted the bar to be able
to serve alcohol I have a friend in the trade who is fully
licensed for such events and can set up the bar with whatever
it/you/we need(s)
I also know someone who may be interested in setting up a
'weapons smith'.

Never to early for alcohol :-). The bar we are having there is
fully licenced and will be done by the Lions which are a
volunteer organization who give all of theit profits to charity.
The blacksmith could be interesting, we will bring it up at next
meeting (how official does that sound, what it translates to is
when we are playing D&D or at the pub).

I haven't seen any of the weapons smith's weapons yet so I don't
know how well made they are. Hoping to meet up with him next
week :)
