Rumors of a god

Hei had recovered his wounds after several days in the hospital
from his last mission. His right arm was still a bit sore but
nothing he couldn't live with. He had filled out a pile of
paperwork for his mission hoping to receive payment soon. And as
he waiting outside of the administration work he had posted a
little note on one of the boards looking for fellow explorers to
go on a mission with no set reward. Instead they were to
investigate a rumor based around a local "god". He had requested
aid from 1-2 ninja in hopes that a party would fair better than
him alone. In doing so Hei would remain outside of the building
for up to two hours waiting before he would set off on his
mission.

Hearing about the strange rumors surrounding the border of the
land of Wind Noriko decided to investigate them, taking on the
request. She was informed someone was looking to form an
expedition to the border and decided to meet up with them. She
headed to the meeting location where she found a young man,
greeting him kindly and with a smile as she introduces herself.
"Hello sir my name is Noriko and im here about the request. What
might your name be?"
Noriko was dressed quite formally in uniform as if she belonged
to an organization.

"Hello, my name is Hei Kaji."
Hei extended his hands out while looking the young gal over. He
noticed a nice muscle build up in her feminine form which was
harder to see compared to the male counterpart which is exposed
a great deal more. She was clearly not like the other girls from
the academy in fact she even had a sword. Could she be some kind
of Taijutsu focused user?
Hei's getup was a bit more laid back. He had a series of relaxed
track clothing on that loud for comfort rather than performance.
His hair had blue die in it but it had faded and almost all but
came out as the roots grew out revealing black hair. And a black
sword however it was shorter than most and stuck to the side of
the sword was a single C sticker strapped to it.
"I've been waiting a while. Not sure if we will be getting any
others.'

Noriko shakes Hei's hand while inspecting his gear, mainly the
sword he carried. She was wearing white gloves and once done she
rest her right hand on the hilt of her right sword.
"Nice to meet your acquaintance Hei."
She was a bit disappointed it was only going to be just the two
of them.
"That is too bad, when i heard someone was forming an expedition
to the border i expected to meet a larger group, but then again
there is no reward involve so i should have lowered my
expectations. Traveling in a pair should prove swifter however,
better then going at it alone with al lof the dangers out there
in the wild, mainly bandits. I'm ready to leave when you are."

"Very well."
Hei's handshake wasn't nearly as firm as her grip. It's true,
she was as strong as she looked. Quite formidable for a genin
though this also could mean their pair could be light on
Ninjutsu but it was a minor though. Hei turns towards the gates
of Konoha leading the group towards the wind's coasts.
