Re: Meeting a Traveling Salesman and Finding Reidoth the Druid

"Great i was starting to get bored just standing around."
The large Tortle had a great axe strapped to his back, a shield
on his left and a war pick on his right while also holding on to
another great axe currently. He walks towards the vehicule and
places his bag inside as he gets on.
"Lets hurry i want to cleave something already."

Callie twists around in the air at Locke's comment, then shouts
at the top of her lungs back at him, her accent becoming even
more pronounced with her volume.
"Oi, 'old yer 'orses! Ahm comin'! Jus' gimme a second!"
She clears her throat as she turns back to Lilith, offering her
a sheepish grin. She continues her conversation, much more
subdued.
"Sorry about that, Miss. Right, Callie's my name! My friend,
Locke and I were heading to Neverwinter for a job as well. I was
wondering... If we're heading the same way, maybe we could help
each other out!"
She starts to float back towards the carriage slowly, expecting
Lilith to follow her. The man driving it waves his hand to
indicate he was ready to head off when everyone was on.

"Man you're loud for a little thing."
Locke leaned his head back, resting himself into the carriage.
He expected it to be a pretty lengthy ride all the way to never
winter so he might as well get some rest while he can.

Lilith notices the strange accent the fairy produce when she
shouted but payed it no mind. She walks towards the carriage as
the man was ready to leave.
"You don't say. You may call me Lilith, what 'job' are you two
doing there exactly if you don't mind me asking."
Lilith would climb on to the carriage as she takes a seat near
Lazarus.

Lazarus looked at the young man as he spoke.
"Hey kid, fought anything interesting lately?"
Lazarus ran his fingers along the edge of his great axe as he
spoke.

Callie flutters into the carriage as well, looking around for a
spot she could land and continue her conversation. She ends up
landing on the edge of Lazarus' shell, mistaking him for an odd
rock.
"We're off to find some sort of druid. Reidoth, I think the name
was. I figured it'd be easier with more of us. Safety in numbers
and whatnot. What do you say? Join up with us?"

Lilith's eyes narrow slightly as the fairy mentioned Reidoth the
druid. It looked like they were heading for the same place to
work on the same request.
"This is quite the coincidence."
Lilith gave the situation some thought for a moment. She din't
like the idea of another group beating them to the punch but she
also dint want to repeat their previous predicament, where they
went at it just themselves and came up empty handed due to
underestimating the difficulty of the request. The thought of
having to share any loot they came across 4 ways made her
stomach churn, but she decides the alternative of coming empty
handed again was unacceptable.
"It just so happens that we are on our way to the same job to
meet with the druid. It could prove fruitful to combine our
forces and better our odds of success should we come across any
'obstacles' along the way.

"Great! The-... Huh, we?"
Callie glances around at the mention of another person. She is
confused at first, but soon notices the breath of the Tortle she
was standing on. She had heard him speak before, but assumed she
was just hearing the driver of the carriage talking to Locke.
Alarmed, she springs up from her perch, fluttering back a bit
before moving in front of Lazarus' face.
"Apologies, mate! 'adn't seen ye there!"
She quickly recovers her composure, bowing her head in an
apology.
"Mistakes aside, you've got a real sturdy bod there! Are you
coming along too? I dare say we'll be invincible with someone
like you along! Ah, name's Callie, by the by. Fine to meet you."
Sheholds out her arm to shake, despite the fact that his hand
could comfortably fit her entire body.

Having been focusing on the young man Lazarus did not notice the
fairy standing on his shell, he only notices her when she hovers
infront of him.
"Eh? i've never seen a sprite before, your kind sure is really
tiny. What are you a spellcaster? I cant imagine you have any
warriors among your people with such a small build."
Lazarus barely heard a word of what she had said as he was
caught up inspecting her diminutive build.

"I'm not a sprite! I'm a fairy! There's a difference, you know?
See!"
She points out her antennae, clearly offended by the comparison,
though she shakes off the incredibly rude insult.
"I'm not a spellcaster or anything, but I'm pretty good at
range. I have a crossbow and these."
She reaches into her pouch, holding up a deck of playing cards.
Each one of them was lined with sharp blades.
"How about you?"
She was genuinely excited to see such a tough-looking warrior.
She'd never seen a Tortle before. She starts to look around at
the gear he had brought with him.
"Wo! That's such a big shield! How much is that worth? Oh! And
that axe! If I beat you in a card game, will you give it to me?"
She attempts to lift one of the axes, but couldn't budge it at
all. Giving up immediately, she flits from there over to the war
pick, running her hand along the side of it.
"What's this? I've never seen a weapon like this one."
Her curiosity gets the better of her as she buzzes from one side
of him to the other like an annoying mosquito. She finally stops
as the carriage starts to move, finding that she was getting
left behind in the air as it outpaced her. She lands on the
floor of the carriage, walking over to stand in between Lilith
and Lazarus.
