Meeting a Traveling Salesman and Finding Reidoth the Druid
By: Callie Raltien Date: November 6, 2019, 1:03 am
---------------------------------------------------------
A man was attempting to head west. He had
loaded up a wagon while being vocal about heading to a place
called "Neverwinter". You might want to see if you can catch a
ride.

Qelline Alderleaf suggests the Reidoth may be
able to help locate some sites in the area, such as Wave Echo
Cave. Reidoth just set out for the ruins of Thundertree, just
west of Neverwinter Woods, about 50 miles north-northwest of
Phandalin.
Location: Thundertree ruins
Callie flutters circles around Locke's head, rambling on about
the mission they had just elected to go on. She leaves a trail
of glittering sparkles behind her as she floats.
"The Alderleaf person said that that druid would know how to get
to the cave you were looking for, I think. Echo Cave, right? We
have to find him near Neverwinter... How do you think we'll get
to Neverwinter though? Maybe we can tag along with a carriage or
something?

Locke is simply walking forward as she buzzes around his head,
his bag strapped firmly onto his back as he glances around the
town.
"Neverwinter is west of here if I remember correctly.... I drew
a map..."
He would dig into his pocket pulling out a folded piece of paper
and slowly unfold it opening it up completely revealing a hand
drawn map that shows the entire town and just outside of it.
"We'll need a ride..."

Lilith was walking next to Lazarus while reading the details of
their new request. Their last one did not go so smoothly but
they got experience from that encounter and would be better
prepared this time around.
"Neverwinter is pretty far, we are going to need transportation
and we don't have the gold to purchase or rent horses."

Lazarus walks next to Lilith as he listens to her speak.
"Hmmm, maybe we can find someone heading in that direction that
might give us a lift? Free if you can work that charm of yours
perhaps."
They stand about 20 feet away from the young monk and what
looked to be a fairy.

Callie lands on Locke's shoulder, steadying herself by pressing
her hand against the side of his face. She glances down at the
map with him.
"Yeah, for sure. It's pretty far off. Maybe we should've picked
another job for now."
She sighs, letting her shoulders droop. Just as she was
preparing to give up, she catches sight of a man loading things
into a wagon. He seemed to have his gear facing in the direction
they were heading.
"Locke. Why don't you go ask that guy over there if he can give
us a ferry?"

"Me? Why not you?"
Locke looks back at Callie for a moment before glancing towards
the man with a wagon, he didn't put up much of a fight, already
walking in the mans direction. He folds his map up and slides it
into his pocket before speaking up towards the man.
"Hey! Sir! You getting ready to depart somewhere soon?"

Lilith notices a man with a wagon packing his belongings for
what looked to be a longroad ahead.
"Perhaps he can help us."
She begins to walk towards him when a young man and a fairy beat
her to it. Regardless she speaks up after the young man
finishes.
"Good morning darling, you would not happen to be heading in the
direction of Neverwinter or somewhere close would you?"
She squezes her breast together with her arms before continuing,
as theh looked just about ready to pop out of her clothes.
"You see me and my companion over there could use some
transportation."

The man loading his carriage glances back at the cacophony of
strange faces. He was surprised that they had all asked him the
same question at the same time, but figured that it couldn't
hurt to have more people along if he could fit them. Safety in
numbers, after all. He agrees to allow the lot of them to climb
aboard and join him on the trip to Neverwinter. Callie floats
over to Lilith, hovering in front of her face.
"Miss, you headin' to Neverwinter too? Mind if I ask your
business there?"
Callie's question was fueled half by her desire to find more
traveling companions and half by just plain curiosity. She waits
patiently for an answer.

"Perfect!"
Locke would unstrap his bag throwing it into the carriage before
hopping in himself, he leans back on the inside fitting in where
he could. He glances over towards Callie speaking to the new
arrivals, she must be an extrovert.
"Try not to get left behind Callie."

As the man agrees to take them along for the trip to Neverwinter
Lilith smiles.
"Wonderful, let us go Lazarus."
Just as she was about to go hop on the carriage the fairy she
saw earlier aproached her.
"Now arent you a curious little fairy. Not even an intruduction
straight to the point."
She smiles playfully and just then she hears her companion call
out to her by name.
"Callie is it, just for work. Why so interested?"
