AM HD14 carbs

I was pretty impressed with the performance of these HD14 clone
carbs for the 460s.
An OE costs about 95 USD these a little less than 20. Internals
look the same as the original unlike some others that look leke
the HD12 once the covers are off. The HD14,s were definitely
more generous than the HD16, where things became leaner and more
prone to problems

Name on top or a no name? @joe_indi
I like the ones that come on the G444 better then the G466. 25
USD
Ones on G466 more finicky.
I bought a G444 new carb for my G466. Perfect since.
Same thing just different names with small outer appearance
differences.
Both shown.

[/quote] The one I bought had the name on the bottom cover in a
similar fashion, a kind of acid branding, not embossed. Name on
minevis of the firm here that imported them. Give the supplier a
MOQ order and they will label it to your preference . But unlike
some others this one works just like the original. Standard
setting is 1 turn out unlike the others and response to H and L
adjustments is similar to the OE Walbro

Noticed a difference today . The ventury diameter
Its lesser on the AM. I have marked it in green. But I need to
compare it with a Walbro HD14. I have a couple in their boxes at
home. We dont have 440s here could it have been originally for
the 044?

Top one is one took of G466.
Bottom one is like one on G444 that I put on G466 as the better
replacement carb.
