They have updated the crank bearings once again. Was awhile back
this year. Just getting around to updating. So look for the SB.
MKII still having failures.
Posted by a tech - Bearings are QVW now no longer SDK per
bulletin.

Still plastic cages. Also went to new manufacture of their
bearings.
Info straight from a very in the know dealer. He even gets in
the new saw prototypes for testing. ;)
= Late 2020 production there started being an issue. We didn't
really see many failures until late in 21. They had engineers at
SKF trying to figure it out but ultimately went with a different
manufacturer.
Also some bonus info from him. = So on the 562 shortblock they
don't have this new bearing, just updated seals. Still an SKF
bearing. The bearing for the 550II and the 562II is a different
manufacturer. So different bearing and seal. You can put the
updated bearings in the older 562 though which is what I would
do.
