       Husqvarna 359
By: Chainsawrepair Date: November 11, 2024, 9:10 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I won this mildly ported husqvarna 359 for Veterans day drawing
of chainsaws being given away by Shawn B. in Arkansas.
There was like 5ported saws being given away to vets in the FB
       group.
My name was never drawn but won this out of default the last saw
       left.
How it worked if name drawn. You won this saw but can take
another saw behind A B C D. Sort of like lets make a deal game
show. I was last guy not picked and I got last saw left.
Corey the porter of the 359 is one of the trusted porters in my
CRG FB too. He told me this saw was built mild per owners
wanting a not real high psi work saw. So only about half the
squish and base was removed compared to what was normally done.
       Per Corey.

Sometimes I wonder how I got through life. I totally forgot this
       GB pro top K041 3/8 bar was a 70DL.
       🤦‍♂️😋😂
Till I made made all the adjustments to run on K095 saws. Test
fit on 346 with 3/8 72DL chain. So it be ready for the ported
       359 when arrives.
Duh 72 was to long and then started searching bar numbers to
figure it out. Bet been 15 years since I cut with it.
But can still run on poulan and husky small mount now.

She ready now with a 72 broke down to 70.
Note to self don’t grab wrong 72dl chain and break down.
       😋😂
Lot of dumbassness went into this bs.
       🤦‍♂️😂

This Fabcorp ported 359 could really be my 1 saw plan for 99% of
       my cutting. 16” 20” 24”.
24” 3/8 buried ripping pine and then maple. All I got on hand.
       Very impressed.
Note to self check oiler adjustment. It was on 1 and I ended up
putting on 3 max. Much better now.
Plus lighter then mkII 562 etc

The trade in 359. Did a free muffler mod and open inner baffle
couple more besides the one they come with. Gill left side.
       Already has gasket delete.
Couple av plastic threads stripped. 1 rednecked holding, top
right one won’t at handle. So get a new one.
Took tensioner from 346 for now.
Test and cut like a muffler modded stocker.
Echo clutch tool works for these.

Wasn’t the upper left av plastic being stripped out. 359 2
Some CFS put a limiter fastener in it. ::)
Put one on right in and all good. Trade in 359. 8)

When ever I get healed up. I am going to cut the bigger logs to
my cant stand length for saw testers.
Be careful out there when you get tired. Caught one to the ribs
bad and sent me flying. Can hear what I think are bones
       cartilage popping when I move.
Echo 490 was a trooper, I could hear it running somewhere behind
me. I could only just lay there and was trying to tell wife to
       go shut it off. 😁
Using the Fabcorp 359 and the base delete 359 with mm I got in
trade toward my 670 Champ with some other stuff. Never got a
chance to test that new 359 out to see how she runs. Just went
trough it and fixed some antivibe issues.
