I need to replace the tensioner on my 359. Is there a video
available? I've done my Stihl and it was simple.

Same as the others in 350 346 353 357 etc
Need to remove the clutch and the metal cover etc. Then grab
tensioner and remove.

The video I found had you taking the plug out and putting a
piece of rope through the exhaust port to hold the piston so you
could get the clutch off. Is that necessary? Can I get the
clutch off by holding the outer cover? Thanks for the help.

You dont have to do that but it makes it easier to hold it still
to break lose.
If you have a air or battery impact you can get off without
doing that. But be careful doing so. Some folks over doing it
been known to break things.
